About Cinderella

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm, and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams come true, and so was a second remake in 1997, which starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother.

Life Way Christian School Performing Arts

The purpose of Life Way Performing Arts is to develop lifelong excellence in students to the glory of Jesus Christ through the medium of theatre. Students participating in this program collaborate at a high level to produce dramatic presentations that engage and inspire our community. Along with acting and singing, students construct sets, design lighting, create original musical compositions, write scripts, create and source costumes, and develop high-energy choreography for their productions. While some students have gone on to pursue degrees and professions in the theatrical arts, the goal remains for all students to develop life skills through a biblical framework that can be used to benefit their family, church, and the culture at large.
