Alice in Wonderland Cast

Ensemble (Layla Diaz)
I transferred to Leyden after a really hard time in my life and I walked into my sophomore year scared, not knowing if I would make friends. I auditioned for a show with nothing to lose. Not once did I think I would make this many memories in a single “club”. Theatre is much more than a club to most of us, it’s a home. A place where you are accepted and learn to grow into the person you want to be. I would like to thank everyone for helping me find who I am, for always making me feel better in times where I thought my life couldn’t get any worse. For allowing me to grow out of that shell I had during my sophomore year. Thank you to Mr Bavone for giving me a chance and always challenging me. A special thank you to all the seniors, we have grown up and have stuck together during our time here, I’m so excited to see you all succeed in life. Thank you to Armani who I will always remember being my first friend and one of my best friends. Lastly Roy, thank you for everything, you were always there when I thought I had no one. We’ve made memories together that will surely last a lifetime. I love you all very much and remember to enjoy every moment while you can.
Ensemble (Selma Duratovic)
I'd like to say thank you to everyone that came to watch and support this amazing cast. I'd also like to thank Mr. Frank Bavone for giving me the best theater experience throughout my years in school. He allowed me to bloom into the person I am today through acting and giving me the opportunity to be on stage. A thank you to my close friends, you guys have honestly always been there for me and became my second family. Thank you Gabe, Tim, and Vic for being patient with me while I’m learning and also for teaching me amazing and useful things from lights to using a drill. I’d also like to give a shout-out to Mr. Victor Giordano, my sophomore English teacher, who became a mentor to me throughout high school, listened to my rants, and gave me sound advice in times of need, I’m truly grateful. Goodbye!
Ensemble (Mia DeLeon)
Thank you for joining me for my final bow on the Leyden Stage. It hurts to say goodbye to my second home but I'm grateful for all the memories I have made. I am thankful for the second family I’ve made here with Leyden Theatre but I’d like to thank a few individuals specifically. Thank you to Jimena for being a huge inspiration to me and for teaching me to always speak up for myself no matter what. Thank you to Layla, Roy, and Selma who’ve always known how to make my day. I don’t think I’ve ever clicked so fast with anyone the way I have with you guys. Your patience and love have truly made me a better person. Thank you to Danny for constantly testing my patience but for being by my side since middle school. Thank you to Jisselle, who became my first friend in 4th grade when I had no one else and has stuck with me ever since. Thank you for always giving me a comfortable place to be myself and for always being there. Thank you to Mr. Bavone who has constantly pushed me to my limit since Freshmen year no matter how much your crazy ideas hurt my pride. I am grateful for all the experiences and support you’ve given me. Finally, thank you to my family for being my cheerleaders. You can finally relax knowing you don’t have to be my Uber driver anymore! I will miss you all but just remember that I love you. Hasta Caballo!
Ensemble (Daniel Martinez)
Mr. Bavone. Vic. Everyone. Thank you. Thank you for being my family for these past 4 years. Thank you for all the memories. Literally, half of my memories of highschool is just theater. I honestly don't know what I would've done in these 4 years without theater. For sure it would've been boring. I don't even remember why I wanted to do theater in my freshman year but hey, I'm glad I did. Mr. B and Vic, I just want to say I thought you guys were going to be some scary angry dudes when I first met y'all. Well to be honest, just a little bit but you guys are some of the kindest people I know!! You may be angry and mad at us, but I knew that you just wanted what's best for us. And i thank you for that. Thank you for helping each and everyone one of us reach our full potential on the stage. Now it's time for a new era of theater kids!! Thank you everyone that would come watch and support me!! Thank you Mom for coming to each show day !!(who does that??) Thank you jisselle and jimena for showing me your ways for tech!! Thank you Layla for always being silly with me!! Thank you Roy for being that shoulder I can lean on!! And thank you Mia, for everything and for always putting up with me. Farewell everyone!
Ensemble (Jisselle Munoz)
Young Jisselle would have never imagined that she would have made so many friends in theatre and learned so much about myself in the span of 4 years. I have been on the journey of a lifetime, yet I still has so much to learn. I would like to thank all my friends and family for the endless support in my theatrical journey and for helping me get to the point I am now. I will never forget the memories I made at Leyden Theatre both on and off the stage, and Alice in Wonderland Unscripted is a wild ride I won’t forget. Thank you all and I am sure this won’t be my last theatre experience!
Ensemble (Jimena Ramirez)
I don't know how to start this but, thank you to everyone who watched me take my theatrical journey here at Leyden. I have not regretted a single show and cannot wait to continue to do this professionally. Although he won't be watching this I want to give a big thank you to Victor Pilolla. You helped shape me into the theatre person I am today. Also thank you to Mr. Bavone I can't believe I get to call you Frank next year. And finally a big thank you to my family for giving me rides all the time and encouraging me to follow my dreams always. Mami eres mi inspiración mas grande y nunca podría ser la persona que soy sin ti. Te Amo! But of course, thank you to everyone for your consistent support. Enjoy the weirdest show Ive done in the past 8 years!

Ensemble (Rodolfo Torres)
Alice in Wonderland is bittersweet, this is the last time I have the pleasure of sharing the stage with the seniors. Jimena and Jisselle thank you for teaching me everything I know about tech from how to work the rail system to stage managing, you have both been amazing mentors. Mia, Danny, and Selma thank you for teaching me the value of vulnerability. You are three of the sweetest people I know and I aspire to carry that same dedication and compassion you have taught me. Layla, thank you for always being by my side, you are an immense inspiration to me and you've impacted my life in so many amazing ways and I will carry every single memory we’ve made with me forever. I admire each and every single one of you. From the bottom of my heart thank you for shaping me into the person I am today
Ensemble (Kaya Kozlowski)
For the Seniors: "Oh yeah, alright Are you going to be in my dreams Tonight? Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love you Love you, love youLove you, love you Love And in the end The love you take Is equal to the love you make" The Beatles “The End”
Ensemble (Daniela Castro)
Alice in Wonderland has been the funniest time of my life. I've made such amazing memories during this show. Even though it's the shortest show I've been a part of, it's definitely been the most memorable. I'm gonna miss every single one of the seniors so much. To be honest I don't know how we're gonna survive next year. Without them there it's going to feel so different. Without their smiles and laughs that I've been seeing for 3 years. I am going to truly miss them all and I hope I see them a million more times after this show.
Ensemble (Armani Gennell)
Alice in Wonderland has definitely been an experience that I will never forget. This show has not only taught me so much as an actor but also as a friend. This being maybe my last play here at leyden I am so honored to be able to do it with the seniors who I adore so much. I especially want to thank Selma because she has watched me grow and has been by my side supportive as could be since the sixth grade. and I have always looked up to her and I am very sad to see her leave. Next I would like to thank Mia Deleon who has been nothing but genuinely kind to me from the moment I met her and has been such an amazing actress to work alongside these past few years. Next I would like to thank Layla Diaz. Ever since our first show together "A Pair of Christmas Carols" Layla and I have had nothing but great times, they never fail to make me laugh and they have been by my side since my freshman year. I don’t think I could ever repay them for how much they’ve done for me.
Ensemble (Siobhan Jentsch)
This is only my second time being on the Leyden stage and I have enjoyed these fun moments especially with some of the Seniors. I just wanna say I’m so happy that I’m invited in here and get to celebrate what I’m into and participating with everyone. Thank you so much for welcoming me into the the theatre and teaching me so much. You all are so kind and fun to hang around with. This will definitely be one of my best memories of high school and I will miss all of you seniors. Thank you so much.
Ensemble (Korneliusz Kopera)
Alice in Wonderland for me somehow represents friendship. Of course not from the story itself, but of the people in it. This is such a close knit cast that has made life long friendships with each other from previous shows. While much of the audience won't understand, theatre has formed all of us into who we are today. The enormous time commitment, whether we like it or not, takes up most of our lives. With each show bringing on a new lesson and leaving us behind with so many memories. Saying goodbye to the seniors will probably be the hardest thing I have had to do all year. While they will be continuing forward into their new lives, all of us will be left with the mark their time in Leyden Theatre made on us. Although I am grateful to every senior, I'd like to specifically thank Layla and Selma for taking me under their wing and being some of the greatest friends I'll ever have.
Ensemble (Mia Herrera)
I've been brainstorming on what to write here for literal weeks, and I just can't come up with the words to express how thankful I am for everyone I've met this year, but I'm definitely going to try :). Thank you to Mr. Bavone for taking a chance on me, because without him I would've never discovered that I am so passionate about theatre. Thank you to all the seniors, Jimena, Jisselle, Danny, Mia, Selma, and Layla. All of you are sooo amazing, and I'm going to miss you guys. Thank you for setting examples of what hardworking, and just amazing people in general are like. I would also like to say thank you to my family, for always supporting me, and making sure that I'm doing what I love. Thank you to my friends, because I seriously don't know what I would do without you guys. That being said, I hope you all enjoy this show, because it is one of the weirdest things I have ever been a part of '-'.
Ensemble (Matthew Perez)
I'd like to thank Leyden for allowing me to be on stage this year, and to have such an amazing welcome into the theatre family. But more importantly, I'd like to thank all the seniors who have helped me along the way. Selma, you're the best! Thanks for being there to talk with me and for taking me home from time to time! For Layla, Mia, Jiselle, Jimena and Danny, Y'all are the funniest people I've ever met! Thank you for always putting a smile on my face even through the bad days. I'll never forget all of you, and all the amazing memories I was able to make with you. Best wishes for your future, and I can't wait to see how far you go. <3 :)
