WHEN: Class starts on June 26, Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 3 PM

* Auditions will be the first day of class. Every student will be cast in the show. 

WHERE: Normal Hill Campus (Old LHS Auditorium) 1114 9th Ave, Lewiston ID 83501.

COST: $200 per student

PERFORMANCE DATES:  July 21 - 23 & 28 - 30. Friday, Saturday at 7 PM and Sunday matinees at 2 PM.

Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, Matilda, an extraordinary girl who, armed with a wonderful spirit and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her destiny. But school isn’t always easy, thanks to the mean headmistress Miss Trunchbull, who despises children and conjures up punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. With the help of her classmates and caring teacher, Matilda proves that everyone has the power to change their story.

Acting Out is an educational opportunity for local children from ages eight to seventeen to experience and learn the theatrical arts in a safe environment. We offer a summer program and an after-school program.  

Acting Out teaches respect, teamwork, and self-expression through theatre games and production rehearsal.  Together the students must complete specific curriculum items and work toward producing a performance at the conclusion of each Quarter.  We offer four six week Quarters throughout the school year beginning in the Fall.
