About George Gee in Concert - Hand on the Plow

Tootsie Roll Soul Man…George Gee has been on the play set for over 25 years. George has had two major recording contracts, one with Word/Epic and the other with the Benson Music Group, both located in Nashville, TN. The two companies helped to propel his voice to national acclaim and sell over 10 million units worldwide. Gee International is one of the shining stars of the entertainment industry. His stage presence will touch and change the souls of those in need of awakening.

Looking to George’s roots, his great grandfather, Papa Wils Jackson, sang with the Sensational Night-n-Gales from the great state of Mississippi. Growing up listening to the blue tone sounds of Johnny Taylor, Sam Cook, Mahalia Jackson, and Aretha Franklin, he was inspired to strive for the same soulful exuberance.

The smooth tone of his voice, like the greats before him, is a unique print that cannot be duplicated. Singing from the age of 5, George made his first television appearance on Bloomington, Indianapolis’ channel 4 news program. This was the beginning of his path to excellence. The world is now receiving his gift anointed by the power of love, preaching, and singing, for over 25 years.

With the likes of Benson National recording artist, STRAIGHT COMPANY, of Louisville, KY, for 19 years, George featured on the albums “Courtesy of God,” “Jesus on Your Mind,” and “So Excited.” He also toured with the famous Acapella Music Group of Paris, TN, George was a lead singer and tenor of the group AVB which features the album “What’s Your Tag Say.”

If you are looking for a sound that makes your spirit sing, look to George Gee International for that sound of solace.
