Student Choreographers:

Abigail “Abby” Cassino is a Junior at River Hill High School and has been dancing since the age of 3. Abby started her training at Dancin’ J’s Studio and has trained in various studios throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Maryland. She is currently a member of the Apprentice Company at Kinetics, where she studies various styles of dance. Abby is thrilled to present her new work, Dream On, at this year’s Spectrum. She would like to thank her friends and family for their continuing support, as well as her teachers at Kinetics for their expertise and assistance. She would also like to thank Charlotte Smith for her advice and expertise. Finally, she wants to thank the dancers of Dream On for their hard work and resilience throughout the creation of this piece.

Mark Eaton is a freshman at Reservoir High School and has been dancing since they were ten. All of their training has taken place at Kinetics Dance Theatre, and they have been a member of the Kinetics’ Youth Ensemble for four years. They have distinguished themself as a young creative and choreographer for many years now, and they are excited for the opportunity for their work to be displayed in Spectrum. In their choreography, they strive to blend story and movement, and they hope you will enjoy the story of accept/except. When they aren’t dancing, they can commonly be found creating magical and queer worlds in their novels, huddled under a pile of books, and taking care of their plants. They would like to thank their dancers for being so cooperative during the choreographic process.
