Kinetics Dance Company presents PROVOCATIONS, a live, outdoor, contemporary dance concert. Inciting questions and thoughts on subsistence, this performance urges audience members to interrogate their own conscious and subconscious notions about our world and the beings that inhabit it. Join us to experience this collection of thought-provoking works at the beautiful Howard County Conservancy. 

Tickets/Seating

In an effort to provide a safe and comfortable viewing experience, we are limiting our audience to a maximum of 35 people per show. Please purchase tickets in advance; walk-up ticket sales may not be available.

The house will open 25-30 minutes prior to the start of each show, at which time patrons may enter the space to find seating. The approximate run time of the performance is 50 mins. There will not be an intermission.

Collaborators

We are excited to debut por caussa disso, a fast-paced, contemporary jazz work created by guest choreographer, Marlayna Locklear. The program will feature guest artist Shaness Kemp, performing a solo created by Franki Graham, Artistic Director of LucidBeings Dance. We're also delighted to welcome student performers from Kinetics Dance Theatre's Apprentice Company.

Our dancers and staff will be wearing masks throughout the duration of each performance. We kindly ask that all audience members wear masks and maintain a safe physical distance from others. Please do not attend the performance if you have a fever or are experiencing flu-like symptoms.

Thirty-seven years in existence, Kinetics Dance Theatre is a three-part non-profit organization dedicated to the development and presentation of contemporary dance as a living art form within the community.  KDT houses Kinetics Dance Company, presenting a rich repertoire of innovative original modern/contemporary dance, Kinetics School of Contemporary Dance, offering classes in dance technique and theory to students of all ages and levels, and four student performing companies, providing opportunities for devoted youth to perform and participate in workshops throughout the area.  In each of its three components, Kinetics demonstrates its strong commitment to the region by emphasizing community involvement through dance presentation, outreach, and education.
