Boy Gets Girl Cast

Kenli is a senior at JSU with a double major in English and Drama. She is the vice president of the JSU Writers' Club and secretary of Alpha Psi Omega at JSU. You may have seen Kenli in the department's recent production of The Laramie Project as Reggie Fluty, as well as a few other characters. She has enjoyed working on Boy Gets Girl and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Dylan is a senior Drama Performance Major at JSU. He has been in quite a few shows including She Kills Monsters, Imaginary Invalid, and The Laramie Project. Dylan will be graduating in the Fall and is ecstatic to be moving on to the professional world.

Kevin Jannot is excited to be acting in this unique theater experience. You may have seen him perform in Once Upon a Mattress as Prince Dauntless, The Imaginary Invalid as Argan, She Kills Monsters as Orcus, Guys and Dolls as Harry the Horse, and The Tempest as Stephano. He is also a Member of the Omicron Eta chapter of APO. He would like to thank Carolyn Conover, the cast/crew, and his wife and son for making this process so rewarding and educational.

Emily Copeland is very excited to be a part of Boy Gets Girl, which is her first production at JSU. Some of her favorite roles have been Vivienne in Legally Blonde, Jr.! and Margot Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank. Since middle school she has participated in community and school theatre productions, Trumbauer Theatre Festival, choir, and public speaking. She looks forward to joining JSU’s Drama department in the fall as a junior.

Jake Lewis is a Junior here at Jacksonville State University and is delighted to be a part of the ensemble presenting Boy Gets Girl . He was also Jazz Connor in Right, Winston in Winston Drives Big Jim, a multitude of characters in The Laramie Project, and the Jester in Once Upon A Mattress.

Leah Bussey is ecstatic to perform in her first staged show at Jacksonville State University. Leah is a freshman at JSU who is majoring in Drama with a focus on Performance. Favorite credits: Elsa/Belle -Curtain Call Ball (Birmingham Children's Theatre), Elsa -Frozen Jr at (Virginia Samford Theatre and ACTA), Grace Farrell -Annie Jr(Virginia Samford Theatre), and Serena Katz -Fame Jr(Birmingham Children's Theatre). A big thanks to the staff and crew of Boy Gets Girl for making this show possible. Leah is so grateful to her friends and family for supporting her always. A special shout out to her big brother Daniel for teaching her to dream big. "Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire".

Christian Watts is 21-years-old and a theatre performance major here at JSU. He’s just having a blast here at the university, and he’s excited to join the cast of Boy Gets Girl and working with our hard working and talented cast!!! Christian wants to thank Carolyn for this amazing opportunity to do this cool project and thanks his parents and friends for their support.
