THE VALLEY HOUR with Annalyse & Ryan PERFORMERS

ANNALYSE & RYAN (Host)
Annalyse & Ryan are an Americana duo who live in Beacon, NY. Their music has taken them throughout the US and across continents.
BSKi (Singer and Songwriter)
Brian Collazo, also known as BSKi is a singer and songwriter based in New York City. The first generation “Nuyorican” grew up in Haverstraw, NY listening to his father play guitar and sing classic boleros by the likes of Rafael Hernandez and Trío Vegabajeño. His own music blends R&B, Funk & Hip-Hop with latin rhythms in a style he half-jokingly refers to as “Sancocho Funk” (sancocho=stew or gumbo), adding a tongue-in-cheek lyrical approach for a uniquely personal sound. BSKi’s new single “You’re a Dream (to Wake Up to) evokes Al B Sure & Anita Baker vibes. Equal parts love song and ode to morning extra-curriculars ("You're a dream to wake up to. I can never trust my eyes; I have to touch you"), the track features soulful vocals and lush, layered harmonies inspired by Jam & Lewis's work with Janet Jackson & New Edition.
ANDY STACK (Writer, Guitarist and Vocalist)
After thriving as a sideman musician in the New York City music scene for several years, writer, guitarist and vocalist Andy Stack heeded that call and headed north on a whim to the Hudson Valley (home to luminaries like Bob Dylan and The Band) and founded the group Buffalo Stack. Andy brings to Buffalo Stack his command of American roots music, his knowledge of the folk traditions from his ancestors’ homeland of Ireland and his modern music sensibilities. Influences from Chicago, to the Delta, from New Orleans to New York City, all find their way into the cocktail. Andy has collaborated as a guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and record producer with artists such as Amy Helm, Duncan Sheik, Suzanne Vega, Lucius, Teddy Thompson, Jonah Smith, Mike and Ruthy, Les Nubians, NY Ska Jazz Ensemble, and many others.
