Debbie MinterDebbie Minter moved to Lead in 2018 and has really enjoyed becoming involved in many aspects of the town. She was a competitive figure skater as a young person and continues to coach skaters of all ages and levels in Rapid City. She also teaches Zumba at Explore Fitness and Adventures right here in Lead. Her biggest passion is theatre, especially musical theatre and its three aspects; singing, acting and dance. Debbie enjoys performing as well as directing and choreographing and especially likes teaching others to love this wonderful art form.

Hailey KurtenbachHailey is pleased to make her community theater debut on the historic Opera House stage. She moved to Lead in 2021—charmed by the Northern Hills' blossoming arts and culture scene. She encourages everyone, from new to long-time residents, to get involved in local organizations and take part in shaping the town's future. She'd like to thank her partner, Nate, and their dogs, Hamilton and (Darth) Veda, for always supporting her passions.

Daniel WardDaniel Ward moved to Lead just 5 years ago and immediately fell I love with the community and Homestake Opera House. He immediately volunteered for the next production and been extremely blessed to have been in several more. Daniel looks forward to this great musical and to all the exciting plans HOH has planned in the future.

Samantha RileySamantha has been involved in music and theatre her whole life, most recently she was part of Jeeves Intervenes at Seraphim. She is so happy to be a part of this revue and that you can all join!

Christine AllenChristine is excited be a part of Lead’s long history of community theater by joining the new Homestake Theatre Works group. This is her 2nd production at the HOH but she has always loved to volunteer here… So much so that last month she started as the Opera House’s new Development Director! She hopes you enjoy the show tonight and continue to support the Opera House and Lead!

Rene Porter-StewartRene’ dedicates this show to her incredible, theater-loving, late husband, Edwin. Rene’, born at an early age, was on stage, when 4 years old, performing in Shirley Jackson’s, The Lottery. Rene’ has enjoyed bringing characters in Music Man , Guys and Dolls, and various other comedy and musical characters to life on the Homestake Opera House stage this past decade. Her favorite show was AUGUST IN OSAGE COUNTY…playing Fanny Mae, with Shirlene Joseph as my sister…who could go wrong? So, fasten your seat belts, cause it’s gonna be a glorious wild ride through Broadway’s best.

Joni HamannLike a Phoenix, Joni returns to the Historic Homestake Opera House stage following her untimely death in the 2019 production of “Oliver.” After seeing the light, she now believes Broadway is her destiny.

Katrina HutchisonKatrina Hutchison owns Explore Fitness and Adventures along with Explore Dance in Lead SD. She is a personal trainer, dance teacher, and outdoor expert. As a child and young adult, Katrina performed with numerous dance and theatre companies in Houston, Texas. She is excited to be dancing on stage again and hopes to participate in many more productions with Homestake Theatre Works!
