Previous HHS Playhouse and Footlight Players productions include: Breaking News (Loey), Seussical (ensemble), Peter and the Starcatcher (Alf), The Laramie Project (multiple roles), Me and My Girl (the Telegraph Girl), Rough Draft (Shandra), Twelfth Night (Olivia), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (the porter), You Can’t Take it With You (Olga), Antigone: 3021 (Antigone), and Theory of Relativity (cake girl). In college, Mia will be majoring in Journalism and digital media. Thank you to the cast and crew for this incredible experience and trusting me to be your director!

Elizabeth Caragliano (Tilly/Assistant Director) is a senior. Previous HHS Playhouse productions include: Breaking News (Tia), Peter and the Starcatcher (Hawking Clam), The Laramie Project (Reggie Flutty/Leigh Fondakowski), Rough Draft (Ray Venoo), Twelfth Night (Feste the Clown), You Can’t Take It With You (Penelope Sycamore), and Antigone:3021 (Sophie Cleese/White Bird). Elizabeth has also appeared in various Footlight Players productions which include: Seussical (Who), Me and My Girl (Constable/Jacquie U/S), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Reneé/Conductor/Muriel U/S), and The Theory of Relativity (Lipstick Soloist). Shannon Kenny (Virtual Stage Manager) is a junior. Previous HHS Playhouse productions include: The Laramie Project (Stage Crew), Twelfth Night (ASM), You Can’t Take It With You (Stage Manager), and Antigone 3021 (Stage Manager) as well as previous Footlight Players productions: Me and My Girl (Prop Master), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (ASM) and The Theory of Relativity (ASM). Shannon is a member of the Tech Crew Club. She wants to thank the cast and crew for this amazing experience!

Alondra is a sophomore. Previously worked on, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Mic Runner), Guys and Dolls (Mic Runner), and The Theory of Relativity (Shirt Designer). Stella is a freshman. This is her first time working on a HHS Playhouse production. She has also worked on Tech Crew for this year’s musical production of Theory of Relativity. She is looking forward to working on more HHS Playhouse productions in the future. She would like to thank the cast and crew for making this such a wonderful experience.

Nolan is a freshman. This is his first HHS Playhouse production. Nolan is also a member of the Computer Science Club. His favourite class is Computer Science and he hopes to have an in-person show in the near future.

Caroline Tanico (Stage Crew) is a junior. Previous HHS Playhouse productions include: Me and My Girl (Props), Twelfth Night (Spotlight), and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Props). Caroline has also participated in stage crew this year for Antigone 3021 and The Theory of Relativity. She would like to thank her parents for their support, mostly because they got mad at her for thanking her dog in the past. Congratulations to the She Kills Monsters cast and crew!

Qui Nguyen is a playwright, TV/Film writer, and Co-Founder of the OBIE Award-winning Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company of NYC. He and his work, known for its innovative use of pop-culture, stage violence, puppetry, and multimedia, has been called "Culturally Savvy Comedy" by The New York Times, "Tour de Force Theatre" by Time Out New York, and “Infectious Fun” by Variety.

Plays include Vietgone, Poor Yella Rednecks, Revenge Song, Krunk Fu Battle Battle, Begets, Trial by Water, and the critically acclaimed Vampire Cowboys productions of She Kills Monsters, Soul Samurai, The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G, Alice in Slasherland, Fight Girl Battle World, and Living Dead in Denmark.

For TV/Film, Qui's written for Dispatches from Elsewhere (AMC), The Society (Netflix), Incorporated (SyFy), Peg+CAT (PBS), and Marvel Studios. He's currently a screenwriter for Walt Disney Animation Studios.

His scripts are published by Concord Theatricals/Samuel French, Playscripts, and Broadway Play Publishing.

Notable honors include a 2016 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Preschool Animated Program (Peg+Cat), 2016 Steinberg New Play Award (Vietgone), 2015 NY Community Trust Helen Merrill Playwriting Award, 2014 Sundance Institute/Time Warner Fellowship; 2013 AATE Distinguished Play Award (She Kills Monsters) and 2012 & 2009 GLAAD Media Award nominations for his plays She Kills Monsters and Soul Samurai.

He is a proud member of the WGA, Dramatists Guild of America, Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Ma-Yi Writers Lab, and an alumni of New Dramatists, Youngblood, and the Marvel Studios Writers Program.

Currently, Qui's developing new plays with Manhattan Theater Club/South Coast Rep, The Atlantic, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and Center Theatre Group/The Goodman.

His company, Vampire Cowboys, often credited for being the pioneers of "geek theatre", holds the unique distinction of being the first and currently only professional theatre organization to be officially sponsored by NY Comic Con.
