Singing in the Rain Jr. (Good Morning cast) Cast

Allie Baron (Roz)
Allie is very excited to be playing Roz in the 2023 GMS winter musical, “Singing in the Rain Jr.” Previous roles with GMS Theater include Ensemble in “High School Musical Jr.”, Ensemble and a New Yorker in “Elf Jr.”, Narrator and Enchantress in “Beauty and the Beast Jr.”, a Bowery Brigade dancer in “Newsies Jr.”, and Pilar in “Legally Blonde Jr.” She also performed multiple ensemble roles for the production of “Wizard of Oz Jr.” with RB Productions. She would like to thank Mr. Demko, her parents, and the GMS Theater team for all of their support!
Tanner Olson (Don Lockwood)
Tanner Olson (Don Lockwood) is a 7th grader and enjoys acting, singing, and dancing. He has been performing since he was in first grade. Some of his past favorite roles include: Gaston from Beauty and the Beast Jr., Charlie Brown from You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown Jr., and Michael Hobbs from Elf Jr. Thank you for coming to the show.
Chloe Sofronas (Miss Dinsmore/Ensemble)
Chloe is in 7th grade and was in High School Musical in 2021. She was a background character in that show. She is very excited to be in this show. She is really happy to have this opportunity. Thank you Mr Demko.
Tyler Bordreau (Cosmo Brown)
Tyler is very excited to be playing the role of Cosmo. This is Tyler's first time on stage, but he's always loved being the entertainment at home. Tyler would like to thank his family for helping and supporting him prepare for this role.
Cooper Hale (Dexter)
Cooper is excited to play Dexter in the winter musical. Cooper has been in one other show: Beauty and the Beast, Jr. He has also been on the tech crew for Newsies, Jr., and the summer programs Annie and Legally Blonde, Jr. Cooper would like to thank his family, teachers, friends, and directors, and especially Mr. Demko, for all their support.
Elizabeth Kiefer (Broadway Dancer 2/Kathy’s Girl)
This is Elizabeth's third time on stage acting but she was on tech crew over the summer for Aladdin and Legally blonde and has done 8 years in a row of dance. She is very excited to be in another Gilford Middle School production. She is semi-nervous but the excitement is outweighing the nerves. She would like to thank her grammy (who passed), her mom, and her grampy, who have been obsessed with theater before she was even born and have been in a lot of shows and helped Elizabeth catch on to the love of theater in the family. She started loving acting after Mr. Demko’s class, so thanks to him and everyone else.
Emma Panker (Pedestrian #2/Ensemble)
Emma is very excited to take part in the winter musical “Singin’ In The Rain”. She has never been in a play but has done choirs for a few years. She also plays the saxophone in the band. If you need her to sing I'll be ready. She would like to thank her friends (Kierra and Olivia O) for pushing her out of her comfort zone to try out for the play. She hopes to continue to do theater all through middle school.
Isla Hogan (Dora Bailey)
Isla is ecstatic to play Dora Bailey in the winter musical. Isla has been in four other shows including Aladdin, Annie, a Musical Showcase, and GES Showcases. Isla would like to thank her Mom and Dad for their love and support, and Mr. Demko for the guidance and opportunities.
Kate Kelly (Stagehand #1/Ensemble)
Kate will be making her GMS debut in Singing in the Rain Jr! In past shows, Kate has played the role of Poodle in 101 Dalmatians and Paige the Spy in the Winnipesaukee Summer Theater Camp. Kate would like to thank her friends, family, and Mr. Demko.
Matthew Scudder (Policeman/Sound Engineer/Ensemble)
This is Matthew's first time appearing in a Gilford Middle School production. He enjoys singing and dancing and looks forward to being on the stage. Matthew would like to thank his family for always being supportive and a constant audience.
Oliver Bartlett (3Rd Assistant/Ensemble)
Oliver is very excited to play Directors Assistant #3 in the winter musical. Oliver has been in 3 other shows including: Newsies, Legally Blonde, and 50th Anniversary of Streetcar. Oliver would like to thank his mother, teachers, friends, and directors for all their support.
Jovie Carder (Fan #1/Ensemble)
Jovie is very excited to be a part of “Singing In The Rain”. She has always been a big fan of musicals. She would like to thank her family, friends, teachers, and directors for their support and guidance.
Madison Stimpson (Teacher/Ensemble)
Madison has been doing theatre for 3 years now and has done 5 shows. Some of the show’s that she has been in include Legally Blonde, Beauty And The Beast, and High School Musical. She would like to thank her friend Allie and her family.
Sophia Comeau (Lina Lamont)
Sophia is very excited to be playing Lina in the GMS production of Singin’ in the Rain jr. She has been in theatre since she was eight years old and has been in about 12 shows. A few of her favorite roles have been Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast jr, Spot Conlon in Newsies jr, the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella jr, and her most recent role as Bulda in Frozen jr. She is very grateful to her parents, her directors, cast members, and everyone who has helped with the productions for helping her learn and become the actress she is today.
Tony Decesare (2nd Assistant/Ensemble)
Anthony Loves Musicals This is his second musical. He plays the role of Dexter's second assistant and loves this role. He is also doing Frozen in the roles of townsperson 3 and 5 and the steward. He hopes that you enjoy the show.
Justice Loeung (R. F. Simpson)
Justice is very excited to play the role of R.F. Simpson in the musical Singin’ In The Rain. Justice is new to theatre. This will mark his first performance. Justice would like to thank his parents, teachers, friends, directors, and the entire theater community.
Claire Tousignant (Young Lady/Ensemble)
Claire is very excited to be part of the Ensemble of Singin’ in the Rain Jr. Previously, she has been part of the Ensemble in Beauty & the Beast Jr., The Little Mermaid Jr., 101 Dalmatians Jr., & Elf Jr. She would like to thank her big brother, Zack Tousignant for encouraging her pursuit of theater.
