Seven Keys to Baldpate Cast

Mr Flynn began his career in show business in 1962 behind one of Boston’s famous TV horses -- cleaning up after “Goldrush” -- Rex Trailer’s palomino horse on WBZ-TV’s long running Saturday morning children’s show, Boomtown. He spent the next 25 years at WHDH Radio in Boston, initially an engineer on Norm Nathan’s Sounds in the Night, followed by 19 years as producer and engineer of The Jess Cain Show. He can’t remember what he has been doing since then – but it’s been so much fun. He would like to dedicate this performance to his grandchildren, Asher, Grady, Jolee, Rowan, Graham and any others of which he may not be aware.

I am a "genuine" amateur theater person…I do it for love. Seriously, I have enjoyed being involved in theater "since I was child.” In recent years, more or less, my experiences have included: -The Amesbury Playhouse, 7 shows there. Some of my favorites: Is that you Norman?, Mario and Maria's Wacky Italian Wedding, Mousetrap. -The Firehouse Center... The Cemetery Club, Jake's Women. I have worked with costumes and props and as assistant stage manager. I dedicate this performance to my father, Walter J. Parenteau. He was a supporter of the performing arts. After all he paid for 8 years of piano lessons and 4 years of voice (just for me, never mind my 4 sisters) and he attended countless amateur productions. My father loved music and opera, he took me to my first Opera, Rigoletto...it was magical. PS… He had a great singing voice and a laugh that was contagious, Thanks Dad.

Lou is one of the last co-founders of the GTW. He has acted, directed, or produced in over 130 productions, missing only one in 44 years. Like George Burns, he wants to be booked until he’s 100.

has been with the GTW since 2004, but started acting in about 1984. The play that hooked him on acting in live-theatre was the role of Roderick Bayard in Thornton Wilder’s The Long Christmas Dinner. Andy’s favorite musical is Fiddler on the Roof, specifically the character Avram the bookseller. One of Andy’s most challenging acting roles was when he played Bridget O’Casey in the GTWs production of Bertha the Beautiful Typewriter Girl by Charles George. When Andy is not on stage, he works as a system engineer supporting web apps. If he did theatre for money, there would have to be a different name with his Bio. Coincidentally Andy of Mayberry’s first wife and Andy of the GTW’s wife are both named Barbara.

has been with the GTW for 20 years now and has played a myriad of roles, done lights, and sound, stage managing, and directing. Some of her favorite roles have been Ouiser in Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, Agatha in All Because of Agatha by Jonathan Troy, and her five roles in Greater Tuna by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard. Renee is very lucky to be doing what she loves for work as an assistant clinic director of a mental health clinic and director of a psychiatric day treatment program for adults with chronic mental illness. She would like to thank her family and friends for their unwavering love and support.

Phil is in his third show with GTW. Previously, Phil played Roy Hubley in the GTW production of "Plaza Suite" and also the GTW production of "A Murder is Announced" as Inspector Craddock. In the past two years, Phil could be seen in the Acting Out presentation of "Drop Dead" as Sol Weisenheimer and the Spotlight Players Christmas Radio Show "The Gift of the Magi" as Conrad Cooper. This past Halloween, Phil was in the Break-A-Leg-Legally's inaugural production of "Dracula" as Van Helsing, which was presented at the Strand Theater in Dover NH.

has been an emergency room nurse for 30 years. Peter joined the GTW in 1991 with Arsenic and Old Lace. He has done over 50 plays including the part of Scrooge in A Christmas Carol and The Music Man at The G’s. Peter has taken the last few years off from acting, but with the encouragement of his friend Gael Nappa, has enjoyed the return.

has been involved with the workshop since May of 2011. Her favorite role thus far has been playing Pearl, the elderly dog (and bird) murderer, in both Greater Tuna and again in A Tuna Christmas. In her non-theatrical life, Danielle works with elementary school children and is a mom to her 8 year old son, Jason, and 5 year old daughter, Ayla. She credits them for forcing her out of the house and into acting, and thanks her husband for watching the kids so that she is able to participate. The GTW has allowed her time to focus on herself and engage in adult conversation.

lives in Haverhill and has been with the Georgetown Theater Workshop for over 25 years. He has done lights and sound, stage managing and performed many roles on stage the most recent being Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, and Piney in A Bad Year for Tomatoes.

Jared has been involved with the GTW for the past seven years. He has acted, directed, sold tickets, and worked on the set. But for some reason no one ever lets him do lights and sound...

John Leonard has been involved in theatre since his days at Georgetown High School (we won’t say when those days were). He has been involved on stage and behind the scenes in productions at the now-departed Garrett Theatre in Lawrence, The Washington Street Players in Holliston, the Daytona Playhouse in Daytona Beach, FL, and of course the Georgetown Theatre workshop. While he no longer lives in Georgetown, like the proverbial bad penny, John just can’t stay away from home and old friends and Seven Keys to Baldpate is his third return to the GTW stage as a visiting actor.

Iain is a freshman in Amesbury Innovation High School whose interests include 80’s music and making bad puns. He has worked the light booth and backstage in earlier school productions, and is happy to be onstage playing a police officer in Seven Keys to Baldpate. We donut know what we would do without him.
