In this hilarious sequel to Greater Tuna, it's Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. Radio station OKKK news personalities Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie report on various Yuletide activities, including hot competition in the annual lawn display contest. In other news, voracious Joe Bob Lipsey's production of "A Christmas Carol" is jeopardized by unpaid electric bills. Many colorful Tuna denizens, some you will recognize from Greater Tuna and some appearing here for the first time, join in the holiday fun. A Tuna Christmas is a total delight for all seasons. Audiences who have and who have not seen Greater Tuna will enjoy this laugh filled evening.

The Georgetown Theatre Workshop is a non-profit amateur theatre group, founded in 1974. A charter was signed on May 9, 1975.

The building that The Georgetown Theatre Workshop held most of their plays in, "The Old Grange," was sold in 2013. The home for Georgetown Theatre Workshop is now at the Perley School in Georgetown, on 51 North Street. 

The mission of the Georgetown Theatre Workshop is to introduce people to live stage performance. The public is welcome to attend the play productions for a nominal charge.

The G.T.W. produces 3 plays a year, a fall, winter and spring production. This year we are switching things up and our fall production will actually be a seasonal show, A Tuna Christmas, after Thanksgiving.

Each year, the GTW funds a scholarship for a local high school senior majoring in theatre. Portions of our proceeds have benefitted the Peabody Library of Georgetown and the Gazette Santa Fund.
