Rumors Cast

Nickolas Remy (Ken Gorman)
Funky welcomes Nick back for his third production, after previously appearing in "The Boys Next Door" (Norman Bulansky) and "It's a Wonderful Life" (Peter Bailey/Mr. Martini). His first role came at age 11 in his hometown high school's production of "A Christmas Carol". He became active in Drama Club, earning lead roles in "Dirty Work at the Crossroads" and "A Widow's Weary Way". After a successful Air Force career, he returned to acting in 2017. Other regional credits include "A Christmas Chaos" (Ebenezer Scrooge), "One Wife Too Many" (Lance), and "Clue, the Musical" (Piano Player). He sends heartfelt thanks to family, friends, and fellow cast members for their continued support and encouragement.
Dave Gallo (Glenn Cooper)
Patrick Neill (Ernie Cusack)
Patrick is acting in his first show with Funky and is grateful for the opportunity. Regional credits include, Give 'Em Hell (Harry Truman), Clue, The Musical (Col. Mustard), Pistols and Posies (Primo), All the Nuts in the Kingdom (King Kindred). A big THANK YOU to his family and friends for their continued support. Here's to another great show.
Dylan McClintock (Lenny Ganz)
Dylan is very excited to be returning to the stage. As a veteran of theater in more ways than one, one of his greatest joys is presenting stories in front of an audience. He wants to thank you for coming to one of his favorite shows and hopes you enjoy it and laugh too much!
Ashley Crockett (Cookie Cusack)
Ashley Crockett is thrilled to be back at Funky, where she had a blast playing the juicy role of Monette in Always a Bridesmaid last summer! Some time ago she was in Almost Maine and also directed and acted for a few 24/7 festivals. Ashley recently played a couple parts in Bieber Burglars and A Very Merry Pinterest for SET's Holiday show, shorts by local playwrights. Thanks for supporting live theater!
Joanne Koehler (Claire Ganz)
Joanne Koehler, happy to be returning to the Funky stage, has appeared most recently in It's a Wonderful Life and 24Seven with this talented group of local artists. She is a Star Bar company member and has performed with several other theater companies in Colorado Springs during the last three years. She is especially grateful to have the chance to help bring one of Neil Simon's most loved plays to life and hopes he's laughing right along with us.
Benjamin Rosko (Officer Welch)
Ben is currently a student at Pikes Peak Community College and has most recently performed with Funky in It's a Wonderful Life and Reckless. He has acted in various University School productions in the past. Ben is excited to be doing Rumors and hopes you enjoy the show!
Richard "Buck" Buchanan (Officer Pudney)
Buck was in his late 30s when he started performing on stage and has been making up for the lost time ever since. He has performed with many different groups and also sings with the Colorado Springs Chorale and the Opera Theatre of the Rockies. Among his favorite roles have been Polonius in Hamlet, Ben Franklin in 1776, and Judge Danforth in the Crucible. For many years Buck has performed political satire with the First Strike Theatre. He has directed plays and enjoys judging high school Speech and Drama competitions
Danine Schell (Cassie Cooper)
Danine's favorite shows include Kimberly Akimbo with Funky, Mary Poppins and Annie at the FAC, and the Elephant Man with SET. See her as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella with the Sunrise Players in March. Danine received her MFA in Theatre (Acting) from Western Illinois University. She loves her three boys, Santa (Jim), "Willow" her dog, Harry Potter, MCU, Star Wars, and the Broncos.
Kim Bennett (Chris Gorman)
Kim is delighted to be back on the Funky stage having appeared this season in Reckless and Body Awareness, and in Maid to Order and The Bold and The Young, and The Beautiful in past seasons. Kim has a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Jacksonville University and was active in the Atlanta theatre community prior to relocating to Colorado. Locally, Kim has appeared in Arsenic and Old Lace and Don't Drink the Water at First Company and Motherhood Out Loud at Springs Ensemble Theatre. Thanks to Teri and the entire cast for making this show such a joy to be a part of. Laugh out loud and enjoy!
