The Egg and I Cast

Betty MacDonald (Natalia Lutes)
Natalia Lutes is a junior here at Fresta. This is her eighth play with Mrs. King, and some of her favorite roles in the past have been Alice Anne in The Stuck Pot, Louise MacLain in Who Killed Aunt Caroline, and most recently, Minnie Faye in Hello, Dolly. This is the largest role she’s ever played, and she’s incredibly grateful that Mrs. King and Ms. Dodson trusted her with such an amazing opportunity. Natalia is active in several of Fresta’s other extra-curricular activities, including Mrs. King’s competitive speech team where she recently had the honor of getting to serve as captain. She’d like to say a huge “thank you” to everyone who’s helped her get this far—whether that be family, friends, teachers, or classmates. She couldn’t have done this without you, and she hopes you enjoy the show.
Don MacDonald (Liam Lambert)
Liam is a junior. He has been involved with the drama department for five years starting in sixth grade with The Music Man. He enjoys repairing instruments, playing guitar, and creating YouTube videos for his channel PoppaGanza. He thanks God every year for His mercy and blessings upon our shows.
Anne MacDonald (Brooke Worsham)
Thad (Isaac Wampler)
Isaac Wampler is an 18-year-old senior. He has been a part of multiple plays and was most recently in Who Killed Aunt Caroline and Hello Dolly. His hobbies include learning specs about new modern-day sports cars, hanging out with friends, and acting. He is very excited to be in this production and would also most importantly like to thank Mrs. King and Ms. Dodson for all the work and effort they have put into making this play possible.
Joan MacDonald (Summer Sweet)
Summer Sweet is fifteen years old and a sophomore at Fresta. Summer's drama career began in fifth grade, when she participated in Fresta Valley's production of "The Music Man". Since then, she has been in nine of Fresta's productions, the most recent being "Hello, Dolly!", in which she played a waiter and the stenographer. In her spare time, Summer enjoys playing the piano, singing, and hanging out with her friends. She wants to give a big thank you to Mrs. King for being the best director ever, and Miss Dodson for being the most amazing friend, costume designer, and choreographer.
Delicate Daisy (Colleen Stow)
Colleen is a senior this year and has been in 4 fall plays and 3 musicals since 9th grade. Outside of drama she enjoys playing sports, listening to/ playing music, and spending time with animals.
Mr. Mannix / Fishface (Brayden Hamilton)
Brayden Hamilton is a 14-year-old freshman. He has been at Fresta for 4 years, with this being his 3rd play. Previously he was seen in Save Our Scoops and Jimmy Valentine. Brayden also participates in soccer and basketball. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, riding dirt bikes, and working. He wants to thank Mrs. King for directing the show and hopes you enjoy it!
Corinne (Allie Freiling)
Allie is a sophomore. She has done many plays at Fresta, her most recent role being Ermengarde in last spring's Hello, Dolly! She would like to thank Mrs. King and Miss Dodson for all their efforts in putting the show together.
Millicent Ames (Peyton Donner)
This is Peyton’s sixth year at Fresta Valley, and she is excited for another fall play. Some of her notable past roles include Downey the duckling, Miss Mabit, and (her personal favorite) Ernestina Money. When not in drama she enjoys drawing, playing video games, creating characters, talking with friends, and thinking of writing, but never getting around to it. She would like to acknowledge her family, friends, and drama leaders Mrs. King and Miss Dodson for being so supportive and loving.
Tessie (Joy Williamson)
Grady (Beth Schick)
Beth is a senior who has been attending Fresta since 8th grade. After taking a break from drama club during her junior year, The Egg and I is her 5th show since first attending a drama summer camp. She enjoys nature, Nintendo games, indie rock bands, writing, and hopes to eventually work in the music industry as an audio engineer. She would like to thank Mrs. King for the opportunity to perform during her senior year, her continuous care and enthusiasm for her work and students, and for managing to drag her through Chemistry class last year.
Miss Linden (Isabella Castellucci)
I am a freshman and I'm 14 years old. I have been in the Hello, Dolly! and Jimmy Valentine at Fresta. I was in the ensemble for both of these shows. I spend my free time hanging-out with family, making music, drawing and painting, and playing sports. I play volleyball and soccer.
J.J (James Singhas)
James has attended FVCS since kindergarten and has been involved in middle school plays and has done a few summer drama programs. This is his first high school play but he plans to do more. His hobbies include riding dirt bikes and hunting and he even enjoys taxidermy.
Ross (Landon Walton)
Landon Walton is a freshman at and has attended Fresta for 4 years. This is his 2nd production, his first being Hello, Dolly! where he played a waiter. Landon plays soccer and basketball, and also runs for the cross-country team. In his spare time, he enjoys football, playing video games, and has done taekwondo.
Larsen (Diem Sandwell)
Toni (Jane Donahoo)
When Jane is not participating in the drama club, she enjoys playing volleyball, singing, swimming, gymnastics and spending quality time with family and friends. Some of Jane’s other performances include, singing in a talent show, performing the national anthem two years in a row at the Sumerduck Ruritan 9-11 remembrance service, acting and singing in Moana at Christian Youth Theater, and summer drama camp at the Fauquier Community Theater. Jane enjoys drama club and doing what she loves.
Hi-Baby (John Longerbeam)
John Longerbeam is a freshman and has attended Fresta for 6 years. This is his first time on stage for a show, but he has previously done spotlight for a middle school play. Outside of school, John likes hunting, ride UTV’s, and hang out with his friends.
Lolly (Rebekah Waltz)
Rebekah is an 8th grader this is her fourth year at Fresta. She appeared in all three plays last year. Rebekah plays volleyball and soccer. She also swims competitively for Fresta, summer swim team, and OCCS year-round team.
