Director
Devon Clark
Devon Clark is excited to be directing his 3rd show—all of them with FTE—and he hopes you have as much watching this show, as he had putting it together. Devon began his Northern Virginia theater career in 2000 at the Riverside Dinner Theater, where he debuted as Rocky in “Damn Yankees”. Having found his theater family, Devon was in dozens of local productions including “The Full Monty” (Harold), “Man of La Mancha” (The Padre), “Sleepy Hollow” (Ichabod Crane), “Big River” (The Duke), and “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” (George Bailey). In 2017, he followed his theater family to FTE where he has performed in Harvey (Elwood P. Dowd), “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” (Arthur Beasley and others), and Nevermore (Man #1). However, Devon’s true passion has always been for directing. And Devon is forever grateful to FTE for taking a chance on him as a director. Devon’s two previous directing credits are FTE’s 2019 production of “Hand to God” and FTE’s 2022 production of Edward Albee’s “The Goat; or Who is Sylvia?”. Devon sends his thanks to the many directors and performers who have shaped his theater experience. Devon also wants to thank the amazingly talented production team, crew, and cast of “True West” who have elevated this production. But above all, Devon sends his love to Kylie who, apart from being my best friend and partner in all things, is a creative tour de force that elevates FTE’s productions every time she walks in the theater. You are amazing!!!
