is a graduate of the University of Arizona where he received a B.F.A. in Theatre Education. Richard is in his 15th year as the acting and technical theatre teacher at Empire High School. He is the recipient of the 2017-2018 Arizona Thespians Teacher of the Year and the 2018-2019 OnMedia Tucson Arts Hero Award. Richard has been writing plays for the past 17 years. Some of his favorite plays include, Robin Hood and His Merry Men, Tall Tales: Legends of America, and Mad Mac. He has written countless one act and full length plays and currently has 10 published plays which have been performed all over the United States, Canada, India, Hong Kong, England, and Australia. is a senior in empire high school he is in his fourth year of tech and plans to keep moving forward with publicity and website design.

Is senior at Empire this is his 3rd year of doing theater, but his first year doing tech and got to skip tech 2 because of his previous experience. He has performed in Greek mythology olympiaganza, page to stage, romeo and juliet, Sally cotter and the quest we follow, and directed his chosen page to stage: Minecraft the Journey. He is very excited to help design and build the sets for this years plays in tech 3.

is a senior at Empire and has been in the theatre for all 4 years. She is an inducted thespian and this is her 2nd year in Technical Theatre 3. She is the most excited for the production of Orpheus: A Love’s Refrain. They are a part of makeup design and are super excited for the productions this year. Naya’s especially looking forward to incorporating fun colors on the cast’s makeup!

Is currently a senior at Empire High School. He has been involved in the theater program all four years of high school, one of which in drama 2. He played the Warwick during his time in drama 2. He is on the props teamAfter high school, he hopes to work towards becoming a software engineer. is a senior at Empire and has been in theatre all four years of high school. She is an inducted thespian and has mostly focused on lighting design. She has designed lights for 110 Stories; You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; and Puffs. Throughout the year, she hopes to explore other areas of design. In Orpheus: A Love’s Refrain, she is excited to utilize unique lighting sources and create interesting visuals.

is a junior at Empire, and has been in theatre for 3 years. In the past, they have been a part of the build crew for various EHS theatre productions, and participated in the You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown musical last year. For Orpheus, they are a member of the costuming team. They have always been interested in costume design, and even plan to go to college for 2d character design. They are looking forward to being a member of Tech 3 and Drama 2 this year, and hope to continue working hard in EHS Threatre productions.
