Genesis Perez (Poet)
Genesis Perez is from Oxnard, California. They are currently attending California State University Northridge. They are the Youth Poet Laureate for Ventura County. Genesis is excited to celebrate the arts and thus community. They would like to thank you for supporting the arts in Ventura.
Emily Redman Hall (Performer)
A graduate of the University of Redlands Vocal Performance program, they mostly perform in musical theatre, opera, and operetta (particularly Gilbert & Sullivan). They direct vocals at Ojai Youth Entertainers’ Studio, teach piano at Children’s Music Academy, and direct and sing in Ojai's renaissance choir, Madrigali. Some of their favorite roles: Ruth in Pirates of Penzance, Mayzie in Seussical, Marmee in Little Women, and Penny in Urinetown.
Doug Friedlander (Storyteller)
Doug Friedlander was born in Los Angeles and began acting in plays in Burbank with a Children’s Group THE PETER PAN PLAYERS when he was 10. During his Army years he was stationed at The Frankfurt Playhouse and after separation from the Service, He Studied and Worked in NYC for 12 years. After moving to Ventura County in the mid 80s he had become involved with the Renaissance Faire and other Performance Art Venues. He also started doing Theater again in several of our fine Local Community Theaters He appeared in 3 productions at the original Elite Venue as Weller in THE GIN GAME , and as THE MISER a few Seasons back. Doug has been Telling Stories for several years now , and would like to extend a tender nod to Kim Maxwell for her lovely work in this Exciting field of “ WORD SMITHING “ .
Volta Charge (Drag Performer)
Volta Charge is a drag performer created 8 years ago. Originally from Denver, Colorado, has made a glitter filled home in Southern California for 6 years. She loves her old Hollywood style and she hopes you do too.
Angelina Leaños (Poet)
Angelina Leaños is a college Freshman at California Lutheran University with the hopes to become a published author, as well as an English teacher. In high school, she won the Poetry Out Loud competition both at the school and county level and has since returned as a coach to other participants. Since then, she has had several poems published, one of which was included in the 2018-2019 California Poets in the Schools statewide anthology “I’ll Take This Word and Make it Mine." Leaños is actively engaged in her community and organizes a monthly poetry reading in partnership with the Oxnard public library to provide a platform for others. Instagram: @angelinaleanos
Kaiden Wilde (Artist, Poet, Activist)
Kaiden is a transgender, autistic artist with a passion for creating art - particularly spoken word poetry - which gives voice to his experience with marginalized identity, poverty, homelessness, trauma, and resilience. As a community leader and advocate, his work is both a platform for activism and tool for healing. Based in Ventura, California, he has spoken and performed in venues such as the Arts and Learning Symposium: Reaching and Teaching Students with Autism at California Lutheran University, the Art Stars Awards presented by the Ventura County Arts Council, Ventura’s Transgender Day of Remembrance at Oxnard College Performing Arts Center, and many more.
Quan The Poet (Poet)
Quan The Poet (he/him) is a black queer poet/spoken word artist from Los Angeles, CA. After the death of his only brother in 2018 he realized how short life was and decided to share the poems he's been keeping to himself. Quan uses poetry to tell his story of surviving depression, addiction, suicide attempts, and more. He has been seen at open mics and slams around the city of Los Angeles and in 2019 he released his poetry book “ The Struggle”. His goal is to bring hope and inspiration to all queer youth to live out loud, share their story, and know they are survivors too. Purchase "The Struggle" on Amazon today!
Sharra Lou (Performer)
Sharra Lou is a proud lesbian Filipinx from Oxnard, CA. She is passionate about teaching, poetry, stand-up comedy, music and photography.

Samantha Corbett (Performer)
A Ventura native, Samantha is currently an aspiring actor and creator in Los Angeles, CA. She was last seen locally in South Pacific at The Rubicon and, more recently, singing for Rubicon’s online event “Voices of America”. Samantha studied musical theatre at Cal State Chico and at the Open Jar Institute of New York. If you’d like to contribute to future projects, it would be very much appreciated.
Adam Womack (Performer)
Adam Womack has been on stage at the Elite as Richard the Lionheart (Lion in Winter), Luther (Superior Doughnuts), and his 4-Star Winning Role as Fletcher (Men of Tortuga) to name a few. This is his 2nd time being in their cyber-space. He would like to thank Spectrum Internet for their ability to sometimes maintain a stable connection, his HP OMEN laptop for it's dependable processing power and his entire production crew for bringing theatre to him in this time of isolation.
