Elixeo Flores is an active member of the local community theater productions in the greater Los Angeles area. He has performed as an actor at The Elite, Santa Paula Theater Center, Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, and High Street Arts Center. As a playwright and director, Elixeo's works have been produced at the Santa Paula Theater Center, backstage, The Grange in Ojai, and as part of the West Hollywood Pride ALAP Reading Festival. Elixeo is on the board of directors for Santa Paula Theater Center, a member of The Dramatist Guild and Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights. His full length play, Nickie and the Dragon, was a semifinalist in the 2018 ScreenCraft competition (stage play category) and 2019 winner of the Moonlight International Film Festival (stage play category). Yanelly De La Rosa is a full-time high school English teacher with an ongoing passion for theater. She has enjoyed performing in plays and musicals ranging from The Importance of Being Earnest, As You Like It, and The Crucible to Thoroughly Modern Millie and Urinetown. She sees theater as a vehicle for spreading awareness and forming human connections and is humbled by the opportunity to share the story represented in this play. She is thrilled to be working with Director Elixeo Flores and Producer Mike Marsalisi for the first time and hopes to have more engagements with the Elite Theater in the future.

A New Jersey native, Rachel Lemos came to California to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In the next 3 years after training, she’s gone on to play Juliet in a modernized revisioning of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” and has acted in a number of original works such as “Patron Saint of the Suburbs” written by Max Marsh, and “Trainwreck” written by Bree Pavey. In the last year, she had the privilege of playing Viviana in “Always Running”, a stage adaptation of the 1994 memoir written by Luis Rodriguez, “Always Running : La Vida Loca : Gang Days in L.A.” with Casa 0101 Theatre in Boyle Heights. She’s grateful for all the wonderful, creative people she’s met along this journey that have helped her become a better actor and human being. Thank you!
