Tammy MeyersMs. Meyers is ecstatic to be celebrating her 50th show and 20th year at this amazing school. This show is dedicated to the class of 2002! You made my first year at EHS so joyous. I will never forget the dedication you showed to your school and to the arts. GO RAMS!
Vocal Director
Erin CookBefore coming to EHS she was the Principal of Cornerstone Academy, and also served as Creative Director over performing arts. With over 15 years of choral instruction and drama production, Mrs. Cook is so happy to be able to join the creative team at EHS.
Vocal Clinician
Diana RolloDiana Rollo has served as a choral director and vocal coach for over twenty years in Alachua County Public Schools. Choirs under her direction have consistently earned Superior ratings at District and State festivals. She has also served as Vocal Director for numerous musical theatre productions including Songs for a New World, Anything Goes, Once on this Island, Jr., and Hairspray, Jr. Currently, Ms. Rollo is the Curriculum Specialist for K-12 Fine Arts for Alachua County Public Schools where arts programs continue to grow and thrive in all district schools.
Choreography
Calypso HaddadCalypso May Haddad is a director, choreographer, performer, and multi-media artist working primarily in the world of musical theatre. Named after Jacques Cousteau's ship, Calypso was born and raised alongside the alligators in sunny Gainesville, FL as a third-generation hippie. Her studio dance training began with Dance Alive! National Ballet, she then held a Performing Arts Scholarship while attending Santa Fe College, and later graduated magna cum laude from Elon University earning her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography.
Student Director / Choreographer
Riley KnisleyRiley Knisley (Student Director/Choreographer)
Riley is a dual enrolled senior at Santa Fe College who was had a love of theatre since she was young. With starting with the Nutracker Ballet to most recently doing a Theatre Intensive summer camp with Broadway and Film professionals. She would like to thank her Mom and her brother for always encouraging her.
Assistant Musical Director
Angela GattoneAngela Gattone lives in Gainesville, Florida. She is a Junior at Eastside high school. She performed in yearly productions all throughout middle and elementary school and in Almost Maine, Xanadu, Ages Ago and Yesterday, and The Tempest at Eastside. Angela is also the Assistant Musical Director and has enjoyed working with her peers on her first live musical since quarantine. She's glad to be sharing this twenty-year anniversary experience with her peers and theatre director Ms. Tammy Meyers.
Lights
Nick Cooper
Nicholas Cooper (Lights) likes drawing, music, and playing games. He was the Lights for “Almost Maine” and “Xanadu” at EHS and is now returning to the lights in EHS Theater’s newest production, “Little Shop of Horrors.”
Stage Manager
Lily Jefferson enjoys many aspects of technical theater: she was stage crew for Xanadu, wrote a monologue for Ages Ago, wrote a comedy script for Butterside Down, and was stage manager and house manager for The Tempest. She wants to thank her family and Ms. Meyers for their kindness and support.
Audrey II designer/ creator
Melina OikonomouMelina Oikonomou was born and raised in Athens, Greece, where she studied Fashion and Costume Design. She gained her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Wales, UK, and her Master of Fine Arts in Scenic Design from the Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.
Her work for the theatre, opera, television, and cinema, includes, but is not limited to, costume design, set design, make up design, puppetry, mask design, and scenic painting. She has worked in Greece, Cyprus, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with professional and community theatre companies, as well as in children's theatre workshops, and specialized theatre organizations for people with mobility challenges. Her experience also includes teaching both elementary level in Greece and college level in the United States. She is currently the resident designer of Y-Not theatre.
Puppet Creator
Paul Gabbard He has served as a director, educator, deviser, actor, playwright, dramaturg and puppeteer for several theatre organizations across the country. His work has been featured at the Up With People organization, The Florida Studio Theatre, The Savannah Children's Theatre, The Tallahassee Little Theatre, The Acrosstown Repertory Theatre, Santa Fe College and PK Yonge Development Research School. He is a playreader for the Philadelphia Young Playwrights organization, a member of the American Alliance for Theatre and Education, a presenter for KCACTF and an active participate in Micha-The Michael Chekhov Association.
