Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. Cast

Zoey Force will be going to 8th grade at Berwick Area Middle School. This is Zoey’s fifth play. She was middle Anna in Frozen Jr. and a munchkin in Wizard of Oz with DM performance work’s. Zoey was also Moana in Moana Jr and Timon in Lion King Kids at the PTPA. She is a member of her school’s student council, chorus, and National Jr Honor Society. Zoey also plays soccer, volleyball, basketball and runs track. Zoey is thrilled to be back in the theatre!

Jude is a tenth grade student in the Arts & Humanities at HAHS. He was most recently seen as Aladdin in Aladdin Jr, Simba in The Lion king Jr, and in 13: The Musical. He is a drummer and plays in the HAHS Cougar Marching Band and loves designing web pages and games. He dances with Drama in Motion and will be playing Troy Bolton in the upcoming DMPW production of High School Musical

Taryn Leonard (Sebastian) is 12 years old and is a 7th grade student at the Commonwealth Charter Cyber Academy. Most recently, she appeared in DM Performance Works mainstage production of Matilda as Lavender. Additional performances include DM Performance Works production of Frozen, Jr., Aladdin, Jr., Young Simba in The Lion King, Jr., Alice in Wonderland, Jr. and Peter Pan, Jr. She has also performed with the Pennsylvania Theatre of Performing Arts in their production of Willy Wonka. She studies dance at Drama In Motion under the direction of Joelle Witner, Cali Solarek and Phyllis Columbo. Additionally, Taryn is a member of the Freeland YMCA swim team and the Hazleton Area Youth Lacrosse League and has competed in several triathlons. Special thanks to Joelle, Tim, Noah, Cali and Phyllis for all their support and encouragement! Break a leg everyone!

Carly Force will be going to 6th grade at Berwick Area Middle School. This is Carly’s fifth play. She was Sven in Frozen Jr. and Mayor Munchkin in the Wizard of Oz with DM Performance Work’s. She was also Pua in Moana Jr and Ed, the crazy hyena, in Lion King Kids at the PTPA. Carly is also a member of her school’s student council, chorus, and SOAR (Students Overcome and Achieve through Running) program. Carly is super excited to be back with her theatre friends!

Stella Byrne (Ursula) is 15 years old and a will be an 10th grade student at HAHS this fall. Stella loves singing, dancing, and volleyball. She has trained in Ballet, Ballroom, Jazz, and Gymnastics. The Little Mermaid is Stella’s 9th show with DM Performance Works. She also was part of the cast of DMPW Fiddler on the Roof, Matilda, Frozen, Works Willy Wonka , Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid (2016), and Beauty and the Beast. Stella is proud to be a part of this cast and is looking forward to being a part of many more productions in the future.

LILY MORGAN is a seventh grade student at MKEMS. She is twelve years old and is very excited to be performing in her second production of “The Little Mermaid Jr.” She has been acting for six years in various roles, including, but not limited to, Pumbaa in “The Lion King Jr.,” Tweedle Dum in “Alice in Wonderland Jr.,” Augustus Gloop in “Willy Wonka Jr.,” and Olaf in “Frozen Jr.” In her free time, Lily enjoys singing and dancing, among other performing arts, and honing her skills as an artist.

Hope Bridges will be entering 10th grade this year at Hazleton Area High School in the Arts and Humanities program. She has been in many shows with DM Performance Works, including Frozen, Matilda, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Aladdin, and Lion King Jr. in which she played Zazu. She is very excited to be back in the theater and to bring the character of Grimsby to life. Outside of the theater, she enjoys painting and dancing with Drama in Motion under the direction of Joelle Witner. She would like to say “break a leg” to all of her fellow cast members as they take to the stage.

Aiden Denion is an 11th grade student at the Hazelton Area Academy of Sciences. He was previously the bishop in Frozen Jr. and Captain Hook in A Christmas Peter Pan. He enjoys acting, going on hikes and walks with his friends as well as swimming.

Kaydence Ney is a 9th grade student at Berwick Area High School. Though her love for theater, she has only been in one prior show, that being Frozen Jr. Kaydence swims and plays field hockey for Berwick High School. Her love for Sharks, water, and animals runs deep with Kaydence. She plans on after graduation becoming a Marine Veterinarian and studying her favorite, sharks. In Kaydence’s free time she volunteers with her family’s non-profit.

Cassie is 17 years old and will be a senior honor student at HAHS Arts and Humanities Academy, where she is a member of the Cougar Players and Chorus. She studies voice, and all forms of dance under the direction of Joelle Witner and Phyllis Columbo at Drama in Motion. Cassie has been doing theatre for over 6 years and has performed in over 20 productions. She was last seen in PWFT’s main stage production of Fiddler on the Roof in June. Her favorite role was Rafiki in The Lion King, Jr. at PWFT. Some of her other favorite roles were in Les Miserables, Alice in Wonderland, Jr, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Mary Poppins. Cassie would like to say "Break A Leg" to the entire cast and crew! She would also like to thank Joelle and her team for always supporting her and pushing her to be her very best!!

Sarah is 15 years old and is enrolled in CCA 10th grade. This is her seventh show with DM Performance Works: Lion king (Sarabi) Alice in wonderland (Cheshire cat), Aladdin Jr. (Omar), Peter Pan Jr (Tinkerbell), Mamma Mia (ensemble), Frozen Jr. (ensemble). She also performed in Guys and Dolls Jr (ensemble), Shrek Jr (ensemble), High School Musical (ensemble), Once Upon a Mattress (ensemble), Annie (ensemble) and summer youth camp with PTPA. In her spare time, she swims, plays the cello, hangs out with friends, reads, bakes and babysits her nephews. Sarah takes dance with Drama in Motion and has performed in the Nutcracker. She would like to thank her family for supporting her. She would also like to thank Joelle and the DMPW crew for all that they do!

Julia Dessoye is an 8th grade student at Creastwood Secondary. Julia was most recently in Frozen as Middle Elsa, Amanda in Matilda and Gertrude in Suessical through DMPW. She loves to run track, play field hockey, and hang out with her friends. She thanks DMPW and her amazing instructors for this opportunity and wishes her fellow cast mates good luck!

Vivian Zimmerman is a 7th grade student at Lehighton Area Middle School. She has been performing on stage most of her life either in dance or as part of musical theatre. She has been in many shows as a member of The Pale Moon Players and ZOW jr. Viv is a member of the Sapphire Impact Dance team at Dance with Kim in Lehighton. She takes part in the LAMS band where she plays the baritone horn, sings in chorus, and plays the piano. Her passion is dance, but in her down time she enjoys drawing, making slime, playing video games, snuggling with her kitten, and teaching herself the ukulele. Her parents and brother are very proud of her. Thank you for supporting live, local theater!

Breanna is going into 7th grade at Lehighton Middle School. She made her first appearance as Little Red Riding Hood in The Pale Moon Players production of The Big Bad Musical. She also performed as a Brave Girl at Center Stage Theatre for their production of Peter Pan Jr. Breanna participates in her school’s volleyball workouts, plays the baritone for band, and is a member of Student Council. She is catcher for her softball team, loves being part of theater and is looking forward to her first production with DMPW!

Ruth Huey (Flotsom) will be entering 8th grade in the fall at MMI. She has been involved in theater since she was 7 years old and Little Mermaid will be her 23rd play! Some of her favorite shows were Matilda with Drama in Motion and Newsies with PTPA. She is so happy to be back in theater!

Emily Brekke is going in to 8th grade at Berwick Area Middle School. Little Mermaid is her third play and she has also appeared in Frozen Jr. and Moana Jr. She is involved in Math Counts, BMTV, and she has been swimming for the Berwick Area Swim Club since she was six years old.

Sylvia Byrne (Pilot) is 12 years old and will be a 7th grade student at Valley Elementary/Middle School this fall. Sylvia loves dancing, singing, and drawing. The Little Mermaid is Sylvia’s 9th show with the DM Performance. She also was part of the cast DMPW Fiddler on the Roof, Matilda, Frozen, Works Willy Wonka , Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid (2016), Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Wonderland. She is very excited to be a part of this production and is looking forward to being in many more shows in the future.

Lilly is a 7th grade Student at Lehighton Area Middle School. This is Lilly’s 5th play. She was in Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Mulan Jr and played Molly in Annie. She is really looking forward to her upcoming role as little Elsa in the Frozen Jr, ZOW show. She has completed two modeling and acting classes for Look Models in Bethlehem, PA. Lilly takes voice lessons, is in her school Chorus and Church Choir. Last year she completed her first year of ballet and tap dancing. Aside from performing, Lilly loves running on the cross country team and loves ‘crafting’. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this production. Best of luck to everyone! LA-

Joy will be going into 6th grade this fall at Lehighton Middle School. She is excited for her debut performance with DM Performance Works! Joy is in gymnastics at Tumbling With Denise, loves playing piano, and spends her free time swimming and rollerblading.

Kathleen Lombardo is a 4th grade student at PA Cyber Charter School. She was in the ensemble for Frozen Jr. Besides theatre, she enjoys horseback riding, swimming, and hanging with her friends. She’s very excited to be in The Little Mermaid Jr!

This is Elizabeth’s second show with Drama in Motion. Elizabeth is going into 5th grade at Weatherly elementary school. Elizabeth is involved in tumbling, is a Senior Webelo in Cub Scouts, and excels academically.

This is Jackson’s first-ever show! Jackson is going into 7th grade at Weatherly middle school. Jackson is involved in tumbling and Boy Scouts, plays the trumpet, and excels academically.

Cara Rodgers is a 4th grade student at Freeland Elementary. She was previously in Frozen Jr. Cara enjoys singing, dancing, art, swimming, and making TikToks. She is very excited to be back on stage.

Vivian Ciarrocchi is a 4th grade student at Drums Elementary. This is her 1st show. Her hobbies include, reading, singing, and gymnastics. Her favorite show is Hamilton and will see it for the first time live this November.
