Because the Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School Dance Department is not subsidized by any outside entity, we rely heavily on the generosity of our community to help sustain and elevate our program. With over 160 talented students, multiple levels of training, a pre-professional repertory program, behind-the-scenes production training, and a selective dance company, the costs of costumes, technical equipment, theater rentals, travel, and guest artist residencies add up quickly.
