SR Allen (Rhoda Penmark)
S. R. Allen is a homeschool 6th grader and is excited be be acting in her first leading role. She is never without a book, loves creating art with her sister, enjoys facts, videos, foreign languages and taekwondo. She discovered her love of the stage during MST's A Christmas Story when she played Schwartz.
Jen Allen (Christine Penmark)
Jen has been active in theatre for over 40 years. This is her first serious role and her second time acting on the MST stage. She lives around Sulphur Springs with her amazing family.
Tina Rockwell-Fountain (Monica Breedlove)
Tina's personal motto is laugh, live, love, play and travel hard. She is married to Keitron with 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Tina is from Pittsburg and currently resides in Mount Vernon.
Connor Curtis (Emory Wages)
Connor is excited to return to Main Street Theatre after a 3 year hiatus for their May production, Bad Seed. Conner has been involved in community theatre for almost 4 years. His favorite roles include Cogsworth (Beauty and the Beast), Mr. Boddy (Clue), and his upcoming performance as Michael (Matilda). He would like to dedicate his performance to all of his family, friends, and directors.
Lloyd E. Turney (LeRoy)
Lloyd is happy to be returning onstage with CPI/MST, and he could not be happier to be in the show with these amazing performers. Other recent shows - Trifles, 39 Steps, Greater Tuna, Oklahoma, and To Kill A Mockingbird. His "day job" for almost 25 years if for Dallas ISD as an elementary music teacher. He would like that thank his friends and family for their support. GO GILL BULLDOGS!
Sally Gregor (Miss Fern)
This is Sally's debut theater role. She moved to East Texas last fall from Colorado, where she occasionally volunteered behind the scenes at a local theatre. Her grandma taught theater, her brother is an actor turned director in Denver, and her daughter had a lead role for the school Christmas play; so while the flair for drama runs in the family, she had never tried it for herself. Now that she's in Texas, she not only has more free time, but is also seeking a sense of community, and was glad to be welcomed so warmly by Main Street to get involved. She is so grateful for everything that led her here and can't wait to see what's next for her as a performer.
Sorin Gonzalez (Reginald Tasker/Mr. Daigle)
Sorin is a returning face at Main Street, you may have seen him in past shows here, some of which are; Snow White: The Musicalpalooza as Creepy, Barbecuing Hamlet in the role of Lamar, and As You Like It portraying Adam. He's grown since his MST debut four years ago, now 18 years old.
Sara Brown (Mrs. Daigle)
Sara is very excited to be making her onstage debut in Bad Seed. She has spent the last 7 years as a Theatre Mom but decided it was her turn on stage. She enjoys spending time with her two kids, Matthew and Emery, and all of her family and friends. She currently works as the Secretary of the Sulphur Springs Middle School and loves being involved in all the activities throughout the school.
John D'Avignon (Richard Bravo)
John is not new to theatre. He has been involved with Community Players, Inc. for many years, In fact, this play is his 31st show with us. His first play here was "Daddy's Dying, Who's Got the Will". He has also directed, assisted, set designed, and stage managed. He originally started acting in high school and has performed in dozens of plays in other theaters as well. His very first play was Shakespeare's, "Julius Caesar."
Debby Clay (Col. Kenneth Penmark)
Debby has always love the theatre and the arts but has not had much opportunity to perform on stage since High School. This is her third performance with Community Players. Debby works at iFOCUS Vision center, the best little vision center in East Texas. When not at work, Debby enjoys spending time with her family, and her grandchildren are the apple of her eye. She loves to read, is very active with church life, and loves to since with the Praise Team.
