Chicago (High School Edition) Cast

Hannah is thrilled to be playing Velma Kelly in this year’s production of “Chicago!” She is currently a senior at Catasauqua High School, and has been a member of drama for 6 years. Some of her favorite roles at CHS include Polly Baker in “Crazy for You,” Lucy in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” and Hope Harcourt in “Anything Goes.” In addition to being an President of drama, Hannah is also the President of the National Honor Society, Vice President of FBLA and Interact, Senior Editor of the yearbook, Activities Editor for the school paper, and an officer of Green Team as well as a varsity cheerleader. Hannah will be continuing her education at Yale University, where she plans to get her degree in Theatre and Performance Studies with a possible double major in English for creative writing. She’d like to thank her director Brenda, choreographer Kerry, and music directors Mr. Snider, Mr. Liederman, and Mr. Arnold for entrusting her with such an iconic role. She’d also like to thank her voice teacher Rebecca Pieper and her wonderful family for their never ending love and support. She is so proud of the entire cast and crew for all of their hard work, dedication, and “all that jazz.” Break a leg everyone! 

Angelina is beyond thrilled to be playing the infamous Roxie Hart in this year's production of 'Chicago'!! She's currently working from home for her junior year here at Catasauqua High School. Most recently, she performed in Munopco's production of 'Shrek The Musical' as Teen Fiona. She has also gotten the opportunity to perform in her drama club’s Spring production of ‘You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown’ as Sally Brown, which was filmed on campus. Over the years, she has performed in multiple shows with C.A.S.T at the high school, ‘Mama Mia’ with MunOpCo and ‘She Loves Me’ at The PA Playhouse, where she took her first summer camps. On top of it all, Angie has taken modeling/acting classes with Image International, and she hopes to someday get to be seen on the big screen. With the support of her family and friends, she looks forward to moving onto bigger things in the future. She would also like to thank Brenda and Kerry McGuire for guiding her over the 4 years she's been a part of the Drama Club. Without their guidance and encouragement, she would have never had the confidence to show other directors in the Lehigh Valley the talent she has to offer. 

Aidan is thrilled to be taking part in the CHS Drama Club once again as Billy Flynn in Chicago! He is a junior at CHS and love to do basically anything related to music. He participates in the CHS marching band and concert band. During his free time, he loves writing songs and plays piano, guitar, and more. Aidan would like to thank his family and friends for pushing him through thick and thin and always being there for him. Enjoy the Show!

Dominic is a senior at Catasauqua High School. This is Dominic’s fifth year with the drama club. He loves to play guitar in his spare time and he has been on the wresting squad for five years as well. Last year he played Charlie Brown in “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown”. He wishes to thank his family & friends for all their support through the years.

Valerie is a senior at CHS, and this is her 6th year performing with the CHS drama club, for which she serves as the Vice President. She is very excited this year to be playing the role of Mama Morton in “Chicago: HS version”. Some of her favorite past roles have been Bonnie in “Anything Goes” (2019), Irene Roth in “Crazy For You!” and Snoopy in “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown”. Outside of drama, Valerie is on the school’s cheer team as senior captain, the volley ball team as the varsity captain, and the track & field team. she is also a member of the Varsity C club, as well as National Honor Society, for which she serves as the secretary. Outside of school, Valerie is an active DCNR Conservation Voluteer with Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center. She would like to thank all of her cast mates, family and friends, as well as directors and choreographers for all of their continuous love and support. Enjoy the show!

Emily Abbott is a senior at Catasauqua High School, and this is her fourth and final year performing with the CHS Drama Club. After performing in past shows like “Anything Goes” and “Crazy For You”, she is excited to make her mark as Mary Sunshine in “Chicago”. Emily is also involved in Marching Band, Yearbook, Interact Club, and Green Team, and she follows a full-time college schedule through Lehigh Carbon Community College where she plans to go after graduating. She thanks all the cast members and directors for the amazing experience and all the hard work they put in to make these shows possible. Never lose that Razzle Dazzle!

Elisa is a junior at Catasauqua High School, and this is her fourth year in the CHS drama club. She is excited to be apart of the ensemble in “Chicago”, and is thrilled to be performing in front of a live audience for the first time in almost 3 years! Outside of the drama club, Elisa is apart of the CHS marching band and concert band. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support, as well as her amazing cast members for working hard. Hope you enjoy!

Emily is a junior at Catasauqua High School.  Emily has been with the CHS Drama Club since she was a freshman. She has played ensemble and other supporting roles, such as Patricia in Crazy For You. She is excited to work with fellow cast members and directors!

Joseph is a junior at Catasauqua High School. This is his 3rd year in the CHS Drama Club, having been in “Crazy For You!” “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown!” and now  “Chicago”. He is very excited to play every other boy character, and intrigued to learn how to handle different personalities. 

Anessa is a freshman at Catasauqua High School and is performing in the CHS Drama Club for the first year. Besides drama, she has participated in cheerleading, marching band, and concert band so far this year. Anessa is very excited to perform for everyone as Mona, and many other roles in the ensemble, and I hope you all enjoy the show! 

Kaylee is in 10th grade at CHS. This is her third year participating in the drama club. Last year she was Peppermint Patty in “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”. Kaylee is 15 years old and has a brother who graduated from CHS in 2021. Her mom is a nurse and her dad works at B.Braun Medical. She loves her two dogs Emma and Eddie and of course her two cats Penny & Mollie. Her hobbies are playing video games and singing.

Mary is a freshman at Catasauqua High School. This is her first year performing with CHS drama club. She is very excited to be a part of this production! Outside of drama, Mary is a member CHS chorus. She is also involved with Girl Scouts. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support.
