Bifocals Fall Collection Cast

Norman (Barry Green)
Barry Green, a Richmond native, is incredibly pleased once again to be working with Bifocals Theater. When not on stage, he has been involved in technical and productive roles with CAT Theater, 5th Wall Theater Company and Swift Creek Theater. Additionally, he is a former member of the Board of Directors of CAT Theater. He currently resides in Henrico. Please enjoy this performance, laugh, reminisce, and relate to this couple’s antics!
Epolenep (Laura Wimmer)
Laura Wimmer worked as a health educator for over 25 years before taking early retirement in 2017. She completed her BA in History and Master of Library Science from Kent State University. After positions in an engineering library and medical library, she began her career in health education at the American Lung Association of VA where she spent 7 ½ years. She went on to work at the American Cancer Society, the Arthritis Foundation and most recently worked with a grant from the CDC in heart attack and stroke prevention through the State Department of Health. She and her husband and their two dogs and a cat live in Ashland where she has a small business preparing state and federal income tax returns. Laura has enjoyed volunteering at CAT and with Bifocals for the past 3 years and her other volunteer activities include Ms. Wheelchair Virginia, the Henrico Pops Chorus, and the Good Vibrations Chorus and the AAUW (American Association of University Women).
Lolita Lozano (Laura McFarland-Bukalski)
Laura McFarland-Bukalski ) has been doing theatre for many years, and is glad she found CAT’S Bi-Focals. She has been in several productions over the past 6 years, and absolutely loves it! She, like Lolita, is experiencing the Empty Nest Syndrome. Her Leo (and line runner) is off to UVA this year, but she’s not planning on “whacking” her husband Stan any time soon – he has to run lines with her now 😊 As always, much love and thanks to Ma & Daddy, Stan, Leo and our Bearded Dragon, Darwin (she listens to me run my lines)
Louie Da Louse Lozano (Albert Allen)
Albert Allen is happy to be performing with Bifocals during this turbulant time of lock downs and restrictions. Al last performed at the Cultural Arts Center two years ago in the comedy Arsenic and Old Lace. OTARP and HCP are always fun times and Al’s favorite venues when he is not busy with Bifocals. He is also the author of Grandpappy’s Farm which Bifocals performed prior to the Covid-19 era. No matter how old you get, acting keeps you young and alert. Thanks for supporting the arts and we hope you enjoy the show.
Mike Hard-As Nails (Peter Holleran)
Peter Holleran is originally from New York, but has been living in Richmond area since 1997. He retired from information technology management and is currently a wedding officiant. This is his third show with Bifocals.
