Meme Simmons
Meme is a native of Jacksonville, NC. After graduating from college in New York City, Meme has performed professionally in Off-Broadway shows and national tours. She is now back in Jacksonville and busy working on her dream....opening a performing arts center in Jacksonville, NC! Over the past couple of years, Meme has been directing several plays and musicals in the community including directing and staging shows at Southwest High School and Jacksonville High School. She has also worked with the after-school program of the City Parks and Recreations. Meme's goal for her company is to provide the community with proper theatre arts training as well as quality theatre productions that are fun, thought-provoking, inspiring, and of course entertaining!

Harry Fitzgerald IV
​Harry is super excited to be teaching at Center Stage Jacksonville Theatre Company! After graduating from Coastal Carolina Community College in 2015 with his A.F.A in Drama, he immediately started working with CSJ as Pete Willard/The ADA in "A Time to Kill" and has been acting in various shows ever since. His recent roles are Joe in "Who Maid Who?", Little Charles in "August, Osage County", Bernstein in "Little Shop of Horrors" and various "Broadway After Dark" shows. Harry cannot wait to start working with these wonderful kids and help them bring out their inner actor. See you at the theater!

Courtney Baker
Born and raised in Maryland, Courtney later moved to New York City to pursue her professional career. She has been dancing since the age of five and went on to East Carolina University, where she received her BFA in dance with a concentration in Modern. Courtney was a company member with the National Tap Ensemble and Tappers With Attitude in Washington, D.C. studying and performing with master tap teachers. She was also a member of Tap Fusion, a professional tap/modern company based in NYC. She has had the opportunity to perform at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Lincoln Center, Duke Theater and Symphony Space in NYC, and spent six months performing on the Mariner for Radisson of the Seven Seas Cruise Line. Some of her choreography credits include, “Anything Goes”, “Miss Saigon”, and “A Chorus Line.” Her most recent accomplishment is producing, directing and choreographing her own show “Alice.” A fun and funky take on the classic “Alice In Wonderland.” She has taught all ge

Jacquelyne Lorson
Music Director
Jacquelyne Lorson is a native of Jacksonville, NC. As the Music Director and Voice Instructor at Center Stage Jacksonville Theatre Company, she is most looking forward to guiding each of her students through their own unique musical journey. Jacquelyne studied Vocal Performance at East Carolina University before moving back to her hometown last fall. Jacquelyne was a Choral Scholar in the Greenville Choral Society and at St. James United Methodist Church in Greenville, NC from 2018 – 2020. Jacquelyne loved to perform in the ECU Opera Theatre Productions and in the ECU Chamber Singers in college. She is currently a member of N.A.T.S (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and she continues to perform regularly in her community. Her goal is to inspire young artists to express themselves through engaging performances and experiences.
