The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Cast

Alexandria Werner (Rona Peretti, Olive's Mom)
Alex is so excited to portray Rona in Spelling Bee! She has been performing since she was 6 and has seen her favorite roles as Dora Bailey (Singin in the Rain), Fantine (Les Miserables) and Crystal in last year’s CG production of Little Shop of Horrors. Alex is involved with quite a bit at school from Student Government to choir and FCA. She performs in Sound System and CG Singers show choirs. Alex is very excited for her senior year and to later pursue music education in college! She thanks you so much for coming and hopes you enjoy the show!
Ethan Wood (Chip Tolentio, Jesus )
Ethan Wood is thrilled to be playing the role of Chip Tolentino! He has been performing in musicals since he was 9, and recently performed in the ensemble of Mean Girls High School Version at the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre! At school, he performs in both Sound System and CG Singers! He hopes you enjoy the show!
Paige Gordon (Logainne SchwarzandGrubeniere)
Paige Gordon is a sophomore at Center Grove High School, she is 15 years old and in the Early College program here at CG. She has been in 3 shows before this in middle school, High School Musical Jr., Aladdin jr. And Beauty as well as Beauty and the Beast jr. Paige is a member of the debtones, an officer in Best buddies, and plays softball.
Caleb Smith (Leaf Coneybear)
Caleb Smith is a senior in Center Grove High school. He has been in three shows at Center Grove so far (Peter and The Star Catcher, Freaky Friday, and Trap) and now Spelling Bee! Caleb plays the character Leaf Coneybear who is just a kid who wants to fit in with the rest. Leaf can’t seem to keep his thoughts in one place, similarly to Caleb, just ask any teacher. Caleb hopes to be a future theatre teacher, and be able to change the lives of kids through theatre like the way his was.
Brady Boyce (William Barfee)
Brady Boyce is a Junior in high school, he is in 2 choirs, Sound System, and CG singers. He is the section leader of Sound System. He had been apart of 15+ productions and inspires to be a actor when he grows up
Ava Cuskaden (Marcy Park)
Ava Cuskaden is a senior playing Marcy Park in this fall’s production of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Her participation in productions during high school includes Freaky Friday, Peter and the Starcatcher, Little Shop of Horrors, and Trap, but she has been involved in theater since elementary. Ava is involved in a variety of clubs and is also dance captain of the Center Grove Debtones. Outside of school, Ava enjoys reading, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Ava is excited for you to see the spelling bee!
Claire Lollar (Olive Ostrovsky)
Claire, a sophomore, is playing Olive Ostrovsky. This is her first high school production; her most recent role was Miss Honey in CGMSC’s production of Matilda, Jr. Claire is active in the CGHS choir program, performing in both Sound System and CG Singers. Claire is also a studio dancer, training and competing with The Dance Refinery. She is very thankful for this opportunity to share her love of performing. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Uther Henderson (Vice Principal Panch)
Uther Henderson is a senior who is playing the role of Vice Principal Douglas Panch. In their free-time, they enjoy folk music, literature, history, and serve as C.G. Model U.N.'s Vice President. A fan of linguistics and the English language, they are EBULLIENT (Adjective, from the Latin "ēbulliēns," meaning "enthusiastic, high-spirited,") to be in this wonderful show!
Cooper Peters (Mitch Mahoney, Carl Dad, Olive's Dad)
Cooper Peters is going into his senior year, and plays Mitch in the Spelling Bee. He loves being in Sound System and CGSingers, and lifts weights and skis in his (little) free time. Playing his third soulful character in a row, he’s really grown into his voice!
Elijah Wright (Dan Dad)
Elijah Wright is a Freshman in high school playing the role of Dan Dad, who is one of the fathers of Logainne. Elijah has participated in two other theater shows, but this is his first high school production. He also is in the Center Grove Choir Surround Sound.
