With this being Heavens first year in theatre she has grown to love it more than she ever expected. She first helped out with the set on Frankenstein while in theatre one and then fell in love with building set. She moved to theatre three and has been working on set for the upcoming production Beauty and the Beast. Heaven can't wait to see what her future has in store, theatre wise.

Shayna Brame
After befriending many lovers of theater, Shayna joined Castaic High School’s Theater Technical Crew during the 2021 fall semester. She assumed the role of lighting designer in Castaic High School’s winter production of Frankenstein, and is currently working on lighting design for their upcoming spring production of Beauty and the Beast. Shayna also worked on audio for the Hart District Theater Festival of 2022.

George Chavez
George joined Theatre 1 this year and took the class by storm. His excellent acting and strong creative ideas stood out from the start. George led our Halloween Project in Oct 2021, creating props, puppets and an immersive experience for the audience. He joined Theatre 3 in the Spring of this year and we are excited to have him on the team.

Chloe Colgan
This is Chloe Colgan’s first year costuming for Theatre 3. Taking after her Mother’s love for design she wishes to take her career further by costuming for TV and Film. Some of her most notable pieces are ’Mary Shelley’ in last Fall’s production of Frankenstein, and ‘Olive’ from the Odd Couple for Heart District Theatre Festival. Chloe can not wait to further her experience by doing theatre again next semester for her Senior year.

Jeevan Dhanota
After taking minor parts in elementary school plays, Jeevan took a shot at acting as William Frankenstein in Castaic High School's Frankenstein. Once he did that, he settled in the Theatre Stage Craft and now works on set pieces for their productions such as the Frankenstein “Beast” set and some upcoming pieces for Beauty and the Beast. Jeevan has had an integral part to designing the set, creating models and planning measurements to ensure construction can begin. We can’t wait to see his set in action.

Scarlett Lang
Scarlett Lang has been apart and surrounded by theater since she was a kid. She has always enjoyed the environment and joined the Castaic High School theater company for both her freshman and sophomore year. She has worked on costuming for shows such as Frankenstein and currently she is working on costumes for Beauty and the Beast. She has helped out at community theaters as well and overall has enjoyed being a part of the fun, stressful crew for different performances. She cannot wait to do more costuming and be behind the scenes for shows.

Samantha Lienhard
Samantha Lienhard has enjoyed musicals since she was small and has made friends with mainly theater lovers. She joined technical theater at the beginning of the second semester and has loved every second of it. She has worked the lights during this year's Hart District Theater Festival and is currently working on set design for the spring production of Beauty and the Beast.

AJ Lico
AJ joined Theatre 3 this academic year and has shown a flair for fashion, design and costume. He designed a range of costumes on the Winter Production 'Frankenstein' as well as 80's style costumes for the Hart District theatre Festival. AJ is currently designing costumes for Veronique, Marie Claire and many others in this production of Beauty and the Beast. He has also taken on the organization of our Preview Night on May 17th.

Kai Sulett
Kai joined the program in Theatre 1 and showed a flair for the subject immediately- even if he didn't know it yet! Kai worked backstage on our production of Frankenstein as a volunteer and hasn't looked back since. Kai joined Theatre 3 in the Spring and has excelled at all he does since. We can't wait to see what happens next!

Catherine Carstens
Catherine was commissioned by the program this year to create the art work for our posters, cast tshirts and merchandise. We have loved working with Catherine on both 'Frankenstein' and 'Beauty and the Beast.'

Jeff Hyde
Jeff joined the program in August of 2021. He has introduced a wide range of technical roles within the program, set up our scene shop and offered students the opportunity to work creatively backstage while learning the practical skills that students need to run a production. We are so thankful for all his hard work.Has over 20 year’s experience working with high school and community theaters in Santa Clarita. Very proud to be working with the finest tech crew in the Hart District. Wouldn’t be able to do this without the support of wife Beth, kids Alex & Taylor, Sam, and Sally, and granddaughters Elena and Michele. Break a leg, but be safe!

Hannah Mistry
Hannah Mistry has loved theatre since the very first day she set foot on stage as an alien in grade 6. Since then, she has trained in theatre in the UK at the university of Leeds and York, worked with students to create theatre in Poland and Canada. After working in a vibrant Performing Arts School in the UK, Hannah took the plunge to move to Canada and then the US. She has loved creating performances that focus on collaboration and working together to tell a story. Her focus is on using the skills and creativity of the actors to help bring the story to life. She has loved working on this production and is excited for the future of Castaic High School Theatre.

Macy Clark
Has over 6 years of experience in the theatre. Her favorite shows she has been in are “Don’t Dress for Dinner”, “Peter and the Starcatcher”, and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” She has competed at the local, state, and national level for Oral Interp, and has training in advanced and Varsity Theatre at Winston Churchill High School, in San Antonio, TX. Macy is excited to Assistant Direct next to Ms. Mistry and proud of all the hard work the cast has done.
