Beauty and the Beast Cast

Tristan Aguirre’s started theater during quarantine, he had always had an interest in theater but only took the first step last year. Tristan has participated in plays at Castaic High School such as Frankenstein and She Kills Monsters. Theater is a safe place for Tristan and an enjoyable way to spend his time(even if learning lines can be a bit difficult).

Hailey joined the company in the Spring semester and it has been a pleasure working together. It’s Hailey Alicea’s first semester of theatre at Castaic High school. But that's not where their performance life started. She’s been a dancer for a long time but has been on stage since 2014. Some time in the mix of dance classes she was in 2 theatre productions, ‘Descendants’ and ‘Frozen’. She’s been singing all her life but started taking lessons just last year. This being her first semester in this theatre class and playing in ‘Beauty and the Beast’ she’s happy and ready to stay.

This is Lucy’s first year in Theatre as a Castaic High Junior. She auditioned for Theatre 2 and has been part of the program since 2021. She has played small roles in showcase performances like Alisa from “The Locker Next To Mine” for DTASC, played piano and ensemble for the production of “The Brave Little Tailor”, and played Lysander in the play “Midsummer Nights Dream” for a shakespeare performance case. She is beyond excited to be involved in the production of “Beauty and The Beast” as an ensemble member.

Cameryn Cazan has been in theater at Castaic for both freshmen and junior year. They have been in 7 plays total throughout 5 years. They have loved acting in every one that they have been in so far. Their most recent part was Henry in ‘Frankenstein’. Cameryn is currently playing Jean Louis in Beauty and the Beast and they’re excited for show night.

Willow Elliott has been in the arts since she was very little. She had participated in and taken pride in every performance, stealing the spotlight as “Pluto” in Northlake Hills Elementary school’s Vacation to Mars performance and being a frequent actress and member of Newhall’s Canyon Theater Guild. Her ever-expanding theater journey has yet to come to an end as she portrays Veronique in Castaic High School's Beauty and the Beast. The feeling she gets as she steps on stage causes her to return to the arts, no matter what.

Leah Erickson joined Theater 3, her junior year, at Castaic Highschool with only a little theater experience from Valencia high school and some acting experience from her childhood acting classes. She has always been a choir person but joining theater made her realize how much love she has towards broadway music and acting, her favorite broadway plays are Hamilton and Wicked. She played a part in the ensemble in last semester's production “Frankenstein” and this semester she will be playing the “Beast’s Maid” in the production “Beauty and the beast.”

Ashley joins us from Theatre 1. She has already taken part in our Halloween Project in October 2021 and has shown great work on this project. We are excited to see her audition for the program next year.

Haley Faragher has been in theater for the year 2021 only but that hasn’t stopped her. Initially starting out in theater 1, Haley auditioned for theater 3 halfway through the year and was accepted into the program. So far she has been cast in The Lightning Thief: The Musical as Annabeth, and is now preparing for her more prominent role as Marie Clare in this years production of Beauty and the Beast.

Hannah has always loved theater and performing ever since she was little, she especially loves Shakespeare. She has been in theater since Freshman year and absolutely loves it! She is so excited to play the role of ‘Veronique’ in the upcoming production of Beauty and the Beast!

Makenna Hadjiandreou has been a self-proclaimed theatre enthusiast since elementary school, fervidly performing in various drama productions and becoming enthralled with the musical genre. A founding member of Castaic High School’s theatre company, Makenna has participated in numerous of their productions, her most recent roles being “Caroline” in Danielle Mohlman’s “Frankenstein” and “Helene” in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre's interpretation of “Beauty and the Beast.” She’s looking forward to continuing further with the company and helping to establish a withstanding precedent for future theatre students at CHS.

Sadie joins us as a guest actor from Theatre 1. Sadie has shown great work in her elective class and did a wonderful audition to be involved in this production. We are excited to see her work in this show as well as to see her audition for Theatre 3 for next year!

Ari joins us as a guest actor from Theatre 1. She has shown great work in her elective class and was keen to audition. We are happy to welcome her to the production and can't wait to see what she does in the future. This is Ari Hatch’s first year being involved in theater but has found out that she loves it! She loves anything singing and acting related but has never been on stage. She has been singing since she was 5 and dancing since she was 7. She loves this position in the performance and loves the people. She is excited to perform this production with the company.

Jamie Lee Hyde has been an avid theatre performer for over 8 years, and is one of the founding members of the Castaic Theatre program. She is thrilled to be a part of this amazing program as an actress and director. Her most recent project was assisting with directing in Castaic’s production of “Frankenstein” as well as playing the role of “Justine”. Jamie Lee is currently playing the role of “Beauty” in Laurence Boswell’s adaptation of Beauty in the Beast. She cannot wait to be a part of Castaic Theatre’s future endeavors.

Diego joined the company in the Spring of 2021. He won an award for his work in the Hart District Theatre Festival and we are so happy to welcome him to the program. Diego is a Junior in their first year of theater. He has done a scene from Kim Rosenstock’s Tigers Be Still portraying the character of Zack at the Hart District Theater Festival. He is currently playing the character of Phillipe in Castaic Theater’s Spring production of Beauty and The Beast.

Cece has been in theatre for 3 years and played Mary Wollstonecraft in Danielle Mohlman’s Frankenstein. She is playing the Witch in theatre 3’s 2022 production of Beauty and the Beast. Her favorite musical she has seen is Hadestown. She is very excited for everyone to see this year’s show!

Jocilynn Miranda has been in Theater since her freshman year of high school. She has played in several productions, ‘Frankenstein’ as Alphonse & Ensemble and ‘She Kills Monsters’ as Tilly/Tillius the Paladin. Now she is enjoying playing Marie Clare, one of Beauty’s evil sisters, in the performance, Beauty and the Beast. Jocilynn enjoys singing and having fun with friends and family and she can’t wait to perform the production soon!

Chandon Moon is a sophomore and has been a part of its theater program both years. He has acted most of his life predominantly working with E.S.C.A.P.E theater company but has also enjoyed acting in plays at Castaic High School such as Frakenstein or She Kills Monsters. Currently he is playing the part of Beast's Man in Castaic High School's Beauty and the Beast.

Madison joins us as a member of the chorus this year. She is a theatre 2 student with a love for musical theatre and performing. She has performed in Murder on the Runway for DTASC Fall 2021, The Brave Little Tailor and most recently as Lady Macbeth for the Shakespeare Showcase Night. We are excited to welcome Madison to the production.

Emily Rose Pittman is a Junior in her second year of Theater. She has been in many productions such as, She Kills Monsters, an online adaptation, as Kaliope, Frankenstein, as Agatha, and also performed a scene from Tigers Be Still, as the character Sherry at the Hart District Theater Festival. Emily Rose is currently playing the role of Beauty in this Spring Production, Beauty and the Beast and cannot wait to show off the hard work put into this show.

Jenevieve is a theatre 2 student with a passion for performing. She has performed in DTASC Fall Festival 2021 in ‘Murder on the Runway’, ‘The Brave Little Tailor’ and most recently as Juliet in a scene from Romeo and Juliet for the Shakespeare Showcase Night. Jenevieve is passionate about theatre and enjoys performing with her friends on stage. We are excited to welcome her to this production of Beauty and the Beast.

Tony joined the program in the Spring of this year. Tony’s first ever play at Castaic High School has been proven the best show they have been involved with. Tony has done several shows at Canyon Theatre Guild and always enjoys their time on stage. Previous roles have included Peter Cratchit in a “Christmas Carol” (2012). Tony is currently performing Beast in “Beauty and the Beast” (2022). Tony loves being part of the production class at Castaic High School and hopes you enjoy the show.

Abigail has been in Castaic's theater classes for 3 years and has been in musical theater since she was little. Her favorite musical is "Hairspray". She played in many productions, such as She Kills Monsters (Evil Gabi/Farrah). She enjoys playing as Emile from Beauty and the Beast. Abby enjoys theater because she has made lots of new friends in the program!
