SOURMASH - consisting of Tim Henry (vocals, guitar), Nick Farine (guitar), Matt Knapp (drums) and Dave Stanoszek (bass) - is an award-winning rock act hailing from Pennsylvania, USA. Initially assembled to pay tribute to the guitar-driven songs of southern rock; the act has evolved into a true, original rock and roll band. With the influences of blues, southern and classic rock, along with a formidable work ethic; Sourmash is out to prove that Rock & Roll is alive and well. Since its inception in 2010, the band has been relentlessly performing and releasing material to continually grow a strong and loyal following. Sourmash is a favorite act for festivals and regional motorcycle rallies. Comprised of avid motorcyclists that ride to many of their shows, Sourmash is touted as the Baddest Biker Band on the Planet. The band has shared the stage with many national acts, working as support for Great White, Saliva, Blackberry Smoke, David Allan Coe and more. Country stalwart, Luke Combs opened for Sourmash in 2016. Music from Sourmash has been heard in the US and globally in multiple formats. Through distributions on TouchTunes and AMI jukeboxes; airing on SiriusXM; and airing on terrestrial radio; Sourmash has reached audiences across the US. Their music has been heard worldwide in film, TV, physical sales and streaming services. The recent singles Wild Willie (August 2020) and Country Girl (January 2021) together have amassed over 100,000 streams through Spotify, Amazon and other services. Sourmash has been recognized both regionally and internationally for music and musicianship throughout its existence. Most recently, Sourmash won 2021 Group Entertainer of the Year at the Josie Music Awards – the world’s largest awards organization for independent artists. The act received a total of six nominations for the 2021 JMAs in the categories of Entertainer of the Year; Rock Group of the Year; Song of the Year (for Wild Willie); Vocalist of the Year (Henry); and two nominations for Musician of the Year (for Henry and Farine). Additionally, Sourmash has been recognized in Western PA – receiving numerous nominations in multiple years for the Pittsburgh Music Awards. Sourmash brought home the Best Rock Band and Song of the Year Award, while Tim Henry won Best Vocalist twice and Best Guitarist, and Dave Stanoszek was voted Best Bassist.
