Once Upon a Zoom Cast

Katia is a 9th grade student who has participated in performing arts since elementary school. She is so excited to be performing in the virtual production of "Once Upon a Zoom." In addition to her passion for theatre, singing, and dancing, Katia enjoys reading and Science.

Jena is a senior at Gaither High School. She loves singing, dancing, and acting and is involved in her school's chorus, theater, and orchestra programs. Jena first started acting in 6th grade and has loved it ever since. She will be attending SCAD University in the fall for fashion and performing arts and can't wait to see where life will take her next!

Chiara is in 7th grade and so excited to be performing in "Once Upon a Zoom." Some of her favorite musicals are "Mary Poppins" and "The Lion King." Aside from acting she enjoys reading, listening to music and watching movies. She is very thankful to be in this production and would like to thank her parents for supporting her.

Madisyn is thrilled to be performing the dual roles of Maid Marion and Miriam in this production. An 8th Grader at Discovery Middle School, who enjoys Chorus and Orchestra, playing her violin, piano plus an aspiring singer songwriter. Her passion for the performing arts began with her first theater performance, playing a Lioness in the Stone Lakes Elementary production of "Lion King, Jr." Madisyn’s first experience with a livestreamed virtual play was with Horizon West Theater Company production of "Emma a Pop Musical" where she played a member of the Welcoming Committee. Thank you to the Best Director, Ms. Susie for all her hard work and for choosing Madisyn for this wonderful opportunity!

Jackson Orchard has performed in musicals throughout the Tampa Bay community for the past 5 years. This will be his first time performing via zoom however. His most memorable experience has been working with St. Petersburg Opera. He is thankful for the opportunity to work with Susie again and to be able to continue to perform during the pandemic.

Yasmeen is 16 years old and has been doing musicals since she was 6. Some of her favorite roles include the Cheshire Cat from "Alice In Wonderland," a Bird Girl in "Seussical the Musical" and she was in the ensemble and also the dance captain in "Beauty and the Beast." Aside from theater, Yasmeen loves to dance and is on a competitive dance team. Yasmeen is so grateful for the opportunity to be in this show and she hopes everyone enjoys it.
