The Cypress Creek Jazz Band returns to the Carrollwood Culture Center this October with a concert that will take audiences on a musical journey of “Jazz Through the Ages.”

It all started in 2010 when four local musicians decided to get together and play a little Dixieland jazz music. Now seven musicians strong, the Cypress Creek Jazz Band finds sheer enjoyment in performing good ‘ole “toe-tapping” traditional New Orleans jazz.

At the Carrollwood Cultural Center, magic is around every corner. Music fills the air, colors dress the walls, dancers float on stage and drama evokes emotion. The Center has been honored to host an array of local talents from visual artists, instrumentalists, singers, dancers, and theatre groups.
