Isaiah Battle (Jack Worthing)
Isaiah Battle is from Madison, AL. He is a freshman at BMC and Fine Arts/Theatre major and has been in many plays, but he would like to mention his role as Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird and his role as Eugene Daniels in A Binding Commitment. He was also in a state winning play called the Recovery Act written by his theatre teacher. “I would like to thank first and foremost Yah for everything He has done for me and my family. I would also like to thank my Mom and Day, Kerry and Karen Battle for trusting in Yah and also believing me. So I thank y’all. And lastly, to my siblings and my nieces I love y’all and we can get it!”
Joey Ellis (Algeron Moncrieff)
Joey Ellis is a Sophomore Fine Arts/Theatre major from Holmes County, MS. His past performances at BMC include Oklahoma! (Curly), John, His Story (various), and Amahl and the Night Visitors (sheperd #2 1/2). This is his second year on IMPACT. He would like to thank his family.
Benjamin Mann (Rev. Canon Chasuble)
Benjamin - also known as Ben or Benji around campus - is a sophomore working toward a degree in Worship Leadership at Blue Mountain College. He has worked with BMC Theatre in Amahl and the Night Visitors, John, His Story, and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, but Earnest marks his first acting role, usually been a stagehand or technical operator. "I am excited and honored to have this opportunity, and I would like to thank Mrs. Mitchell for giving it to me. I would also like to thank my family, friends, and professors for their support and prayers."
Declan Lowell (Lane)
Declan is a freshman Fine Arts/Theatre major at BMC. He played Ali Hakim in Oklahoma!, has appeared in multiple film productions and other performances. “I would like to thank my old Film Teacher, Mr. Benoit.”
Luke Dyess (Merriman)
Luke Dyess is a 22 years old 5th year senior at Blue Mountain College. He is a Business Administration major from Byhalia MS. His past plays include John His Story, Charlotte's Web, and Oklahoma!. He would like to thank his parents for forcing him to take speech and debate in High School and showing him how wonderful the world of interpretation and theatre can be. Also Mrs. Christi Mitchell for providing the opportunity to perform and for her love for us, and for her dedication for making this the best it could be. “I’m afraid my brain has left for the day.” – Peppermint Patty, Peanuts
Bridget Sweatt (Lady Bracknell)
Bridget is a senior Music Education major from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a member of Vivace, Centerstage, as well as Kappa Delta Pi and Alpha Chi honor societies. Her previous roles/ productions include The Sword and the Stone, Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, and various one and two act plays including Once Upon a Playground (Forda Moore), Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch (Dora), and Shoot Out at Hole in the Wall. Bridget has also participated in a few Operas including The Devil and Daniel Webster (Townspeople), The Bartered Bride (Villager), and Amahl and the Night Visitors (Villager). One of her favorite quotes by Les Brown says “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." James 1:17 says, "But every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
Jamie Henderson (Gwendoline Fairfax)
Jamie Henderson is an 18-year-old freshman at Blue Mountain College. She is from Cleveland, Tennessee, and came to BMC to major in History and English. Jamie has played a variety of roles in a variety of productions but was most notably Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Hannah (the Godmother) in Cinders and Ella, and Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. She would like to thank God and her family for allowing her to pursue her dreams, and for guiding her in everything she does.
Sharissa Smith (Cecily Cardew)
Sharissa Smith is a sophomore at Blue Mountain College. She is a Fine Arts/Theatre major from Cave Junction Oregon. She would like to thank her family for always being so supportive.
Shelby Grant (Miss Prism)
Shelby currently resides in New Albany, Mississippi. She is a junior attending BMC to acquire a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Science. She has been in, and assisted with, a multitude of theatrical productions ranging from productions like Peter Pan and Tom Sawyer to numerous children’s musical theatre camps, such as Dazzled by Disney.
Nate Foster (Servant)
Nate is from Middleton, Tennessee. He is a senior and majoring in Biblical Studies at BMC. “I just want to thank all my friends in this production that encouraged me to audition.”
