Director, Lighting & Set Designer
Wayne G. Weber
Wayne is excited to direct his third production for BSP. Previous directing credits include: "Sylvia" and "On Golden Pond". Wayne may be relatively new to the directing world, but he is no stranger to theatre: he is a 40+ year veteran of professional theatre, working primarily as a Production Manager, Stage Manager, fight choreographer, and touring stage technician. He is a former Equity stage manager, and has travelled with over 15 nationally touring Broadway productions. Some credits include: "Damn Yankees", starring Jerry Lewis (also played London's West End), "The Goodbye Girl" with Eddie ("Carmine") Mekka, "Joseph...Dreamcoat" (with Sam Harris), and various regional professional productions. He has also worked on The Rolling Stones' Voodoo Lounge stadium tour, U2's Zoo Tv tour, and spent five years as a Entertainment Production Manager for Royal Caribbean cruise lines. As a stage fight choreographer he had the pleasure of staging the violence for the world premiere of "I Dream" for the Toledo Opera. Even though he has been heard saying he "doesn't act", he has appeared in "Noises Off", "Dearly Departed", "The Black Bonspiel of Wullie Macrimmon", "1776", as well as the feature film "On The Arm". He is a proud union member and currently serves on the Executive Board for the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) local #24 Toledo. During the summers he can be found doing one of his favorite part-time jobs - serving as an aerial adventure guide for the Toledo zoo's zipline and challenge course. He lives in Haskins with his wifeance' Debbie and his stepson - the voice of the Central Michigan Chippewa's baseball team - Caleb
