BNI Drama Presents: You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown Cast

Lukas Patton (Charlie Brown)
Lukas is a freshman at Bishop Noll Institute and is beyond excited to be playing Charlie Brown in this production! He first discovered his love for acting while attending St. Thomas More School, where he performed in a variety of fun and challenging roles. Some of his favorite school performances include ensemble in Moana Jr., the Ugly Duckling in Honk Jr., LeFou in Beauty and the Beast Jr., and Marlin in Finding Nemo Jr. These experiences helped Lukas build confidence, grow as a performer, and develop a deep passion for storytelling. Lukas has also been active in community theater, where he played Bernard in Bringing Down the House, as well as Oaken and Pabbie in Frozen Jr. Every role has taught him something new and made him fall more in love with performing. He would like to give a heartfelt thank you to his parents, family, and friends for their endless love, encouragement, and support. He also wants to thank Mr. Flaig and the amazing crew for their hard work, dedication, and behind-the-scenes magic. And to the incredible cast — “Thank you for your love and support. I wouldn’t want to do this show with anyone else.” Lukas is truly grateful for the chance to bring Charlie Brown to life and hopes you enjoy the show as much as he’s loved being a part of it. Now, sit back, relax, and enjoy the performance!
Xiomara Fornes (Sally Brown)
Xiomara is super excited to be playing Sally Brown in BNI’s production of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She is currently a sophomore, and has previously been in her first performance, Little Women, as Beth March. She used to take acting classes near Rosemont, Illinois, and was coached by a professional actor. In her little spare time, she reads, practices guitar, and cuts her bangs uneven. She enjoys singing in choir, and recently made the dance team! She loves listening to Newjeans, The Sundays, Ariana Grande, and Katseye. She would like to thank her friends, her cast mates, the crew, her parents, grandparents, siblings, and everyone who has believed in her. She would also like to thank her director for giving her this opportunity, and trusting that she’ll put on a great show for everyone. Enjoy the show!
Catherine Ralphson (Lucy Van Pelt)
Catherine is most jubilant to be bringing You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown to life. She is 17 years old and a junior. This is her third year being involved in Drama Club at BNI, where she has been proud to serve as the Social Media Manager for the past two years. In her high school career, she played the Hag in Little Women, Miss Trunchbull in Matilda, and Claire in Table for One (student one-act). Outside of school, she performed as Dorothy Gail in The Enchanted Bookshop at the Hammond Community Theater, the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz at the Beverly Arts Center, and appeared in Newsies at Mother McAuley High School’s summer production. Besides theater, she is a volleyball player and competitive equestrian. She is a member of the Speech Team, a Campus Ministry Leader, a Student Ambassador, and is involved in the Yoga Club, Biology Club, Women’s Empowerment, Dedicated Disciples, Choir, and Student Council. She is honored to serve on the HSU Committee and to be part of the National Honor Society. She loves to listen to music, travel, and spend time with her family and friends. Catherine would like to thank God for His many blessings. She would also like to thank the director, Mr. Flaig, Miss Wragg, and her talented fellow cast and crew members. In the wise words of Lucy: don’t be a “blockhead” and enjoy the show!
Aaliyah Lewis (Snoopy)
Aaliyah is a senior at BNI and is so excited to be playing Snoopy in BNI’s Theater production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. You may have previously seen her in Little Women as Aunt March, Leaving Iowa as Kerry Terri, and Matilda as a big/little kid. She has been part of the drama club since freshman year, and this is her fourth year being a part of this club. In her free time she likes doing all kinds of art, watching dramas, and listening to K-pop. She is very nervous to be singing two solo songs, but most of all she is very happy and excited to bring the sassiness of Snoopy to life. She would like to thank Mr. Flaig for always believing in her and all of the cast and crew of YAGMCB for being such supportive people and making every rehearsal such a warm, welcoming, and safe place for everyone.
Jhoan Perez Pravia (Schroeder)
Jhoan Pravia is excited to take the stage as Schroeder in his high school’s production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! A junior at Bishop Noll Institute, this marks his fifth theatrical performance. Audiences might remember him as Rodrigo in last spring’s musical, Little Women. Each show has continued to strengthen his love for theatre and his passion for storytelling through music and performance. Beyond the stage, Jhoan is actively involved in various clubs and organizations at BNI, where he enjoys contributing to his school community in many ways. He is deeply grateful for the support of his friends, mentors, and fellow cast members who have made this experience so memorable. To the entire production team, Jhoan extends his heartfelt thanks for your creativity, patience, and guidance throughout this process. He is honored to share the joy, humor, and heart of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown with everyone in the audience.
Semaj Davis (Linus Van Pelt)
Semaj is very excited to be playing Linus in “You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.” He has only been in one musical, Little Women. His experience was very fun and everyone was so encouraging, welcoming, and nice. When he went to auditions, he did not think he would even be able to be in the cast, but to his surprise, he made it in the actual cast. Not only was he in the cast, but he was one of the main characters. After this he decided to audition for You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and even though there were limited characters he could audition for, he stayed confident and still auditioned with all his heart. When he found out he got Linus, he was so excited and ready to have an amazing time with the cast, crew, and director. Besides theatre, you might see him on the basketball court, in the weight room, on the baseball field, or the football field. In his free time he loves to hang out with friends and play video games. He would love to thank his mom, friends, director, and stage manager for being so supportive. Enjoy the most amazing and funniest musical you’ll ever see!
