Brittany Thummel
Director/PianoMs. Thummel is the choir director at Bangor and this is her 3rd year here. She graduated from Viterbo University with degrees in music education and vocal performance. Ms. Thummel has been many different shows, but Oklahoma! holds a special place for her as this is her 3rd time working on this show. She was in Oklahoma a couple years ago with Appleseed Community Theater playing the role of Aunt Eller, but that wasn't her first time in the show. Oklahoma was her first ever musical when she was a freshman in high school where she played the role of Gertie. She is very excited to get the chance to make this her 3rd show to direct and get to share the experience that is Oklahoma! with her students.
Gwynne Mishler
Director/PianoGwynne Mishler teachdx elementary music here in Bangor. She is a bit of a theatre geek having been in many shows, music directed and directed at least as many shows. Gwynne currently run the Kidscamp program, a theatre camp for youth, during summers for Appleseed Community Theatre in La Crescent. Oklahoma has always been at the top of her list for favorite classic musicals. She has music directed it in the past, and watched Ms. Thummel and her daughter perform in it with Appleseed as Aunt Eller and Gertie Cummings, BUT she have never had the chance to act in it. Gwynne has loved bringing this show to Banogr!!
Brittany Roscovius
DirectorThis is Ms. Roscovius’ second year at Bangor and her first show here. She is very excited to be a part of a production again since she’s directed at least one show each year since she’s started teaching. Musicals have always held a special place in her heart since she was a little girl. Oklahoma rekindles that love of memorable songs and a sweet love story. Her favorite part of the show is the subtle humor about the silliness of love.
