Alison Foutz (Actor #1)
Alison is 26 years old and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Baldwin Wallace. Today, she works for Reliable Ready Mix Co. In the past you may have seen Alison on the stage in productions such as Honk (Beaky), Children of Eden (Young Cain), Annie (Annie), and Winnie the Pooh (Piglet). She would like to send a huge “Thank you” to all of her family and friends who come to support her in all of her many performances!
Keenan Carosielli (Actor #2)
Keenan is 18 years old and has been no stranger to the stage, having been recently seen in productions such as Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None (Anthony Marsten), Bent (Wolfgang Granz), Godspell (Player), Of Mice and Men (Curley), and It’s a Wonderful Life (Harry Bailey/Sam Wainright). He would like to thank his family for their continued support.
Cheryl Foutz (Actor #3)
Cheryl currently works as a senior analyst at The Timken Company by day and hits the stage at many local theatres by night. She has been seen in 35 productions over the last 15 years at venues such as Avenue Arts, Canal Fulton Players, Carnation City Players, Players Guild Theatre, and more. Some of her favorite productions have been It Shoulda Been You (Aunt Sheila/Mimsy), The Addams Family (Ancestor), and A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Fezziwig/Molly). Cheryl’s favorite aspect of theatre is meeting new people and performing with her daughter and other theatre friends, especially in musicals and dramas.
Mark Dillard (Actor #4)
Mark is 39 years old and currently works for the Social Security Administration. No stranger to the performing arts realm in Canton, Ohio, Mark has been previously seen in productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar (Pontius Pilate), Godspell (John The Baptist/Judas), The Little Mermaid (King Triton), and Ragtime (Booker T. Washington). He would like to send out a “thank you” to his lovely wife, Racquel, and his kids, Bella and Donnie, for their continued support.
Brett Voina (Actor #5)
Brett is 35 years old and currently works at Jackson Ridge Rehab. No stranger to the stage, Brett has been seen in multiple productions, including Proof (Hal), Bent (Max), Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None (Phillip Lombard), August: Osage County (Little Charles Aiken), and The Birds (Nat). Brett states that he is more excited about Star Wars Episode 9 than he is about Christmas and would like to thank the audiences for their continued support of local theatre and Avenue Arts.
Bridget Bazzinotti (Actor #6)
Bridget graduated from Marshall University with a degree in Journalism as well as Stark State College for her Business Administration degree. Today she works for Altercare Integrated Health Services. A favorite on stage, Bridget has been seen in productions such as August: Osage County (Mattie Fae Aiken), The Addams Family (Grandma Addams), Barefoot in the Park (Ethel Banks), The Other Place (Juliana Smithton), and Company (Joanne). She became interested in theatre as a teenager in the foster care system and states that theatre allowed her to be a different person in difficult times in her life. She would like to thank Mr. Gillespie, her high school drama teacher, for instilling self-respect and appreciation of a good “belly laugh” from your audiences.
Manuel Halkias (Actor #7)
Manuel is 53 years old and received a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education from University of Akron and is licensed to teach English, Speech, Theatre, and Journalism. He currently works as an educator and the director of speech and debate at McKinley High School. Previous stage credits include It’s a Wonderful Life (Clarence Odbody), The Laramie Project (Actor), Screwtape (Wormwood), The Rocky Horror Show (Narrator), and The Dry Season (Pete). A huge thank you to every director, stage manager, crew member, actor and audience member who have each made him a better actor and human being. “I love you all”.
Brad Vincent (Actor #8)
Brad is happy to return to the Avenue Arts Stage and work with the wonderfully talented Underground readers theater group. Previous Avenue Arts appearances include Eddie In Rocky Horror and Uncle Billy in It’s a Wonderful Life, but he is most proud of his work with the amazing Laramie Project ensemble of actors. His work beyond the Avenue Arts stage includes work with North Canton Playhouse, Theater 8:15 and most recently he was part of Northeast Ohio’s first “immersive theater” experience “Shadow of the Run: Wanderlust”. He wants to thank his Avenue Arts family for the opportunity to work with them again. Much love and thanks to Zen and Anna for their continued love and support.
Rene Perez (Narrator)
Rene’ is 49 years old and currently works as a Clinical Counselor at Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health after getting her Bachelor’s in Nursing and Education from Malone University and her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Ashland University. In the past, Rene’ has been seen in productions such as Aida (Female Ensemble), It’s a Wonderful Life (Aunt Tilly), Godspell (Player), The Fate of the Furious (Extra), and I’m Having an Affair With My Wife (Officer Blake). Rene’ is a massive Star Wars fan and would like to thank her sister, Malai Evans, who passed away at the age of 51 this year from breast cancer, for getting her involved in theatre when she was in high school.
