Hello Herman Cast

Trenton Eaves (Herman Howards)
Trenton is 17 years old and currently attends McKinley High School as a senior! Previous stage credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), Once on This Island (Daniel) and Demented: A Frankenstein Play in Two Acts (Buck). Trenton is also the president of the speech and debate team at McKinley and performs in Humorous Interpretation! He would like to thank Ruth Dubinsky for getting him involved in theatre to begin with and Manuel Halkias for telling him about this opportunity and encouraging him to come audition. He would also like to thank his family and friends for their continued support.
Brett Voina (Lax Morales)
Brett is 36 years old and graduated from Perry High School where he participated in the theatre program. He currently works at Jackson Ridge Rehab! Some notable stage credits for Brett include Next to Normal (Dan), Bent (Max), Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None (Phillip Lombard), The Birds (Nat), and The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff). Brett would like to thank everyone who continues to support local theatre and Avenue Arts!!
Cassie Brode (Sheyla Duvall)
Cassie is 22 years old and currently works as an Ophthalmic Technician! Previous stage credits include Hairspray (Tammy), The Laramie Project (Various), The Rocky Horror Show (Phantom) and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy). Cassie would like to thank her family for always making sure to be in the audience at any show she's in and would also like to thank Jared and David for constantly believing in and pushing her!
George Csanyi (Chet Clarkson/Frank Howards)
George holds a Master's Degree in School Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Akron and now currently works as the Director of the State Support Team Region 7. Previous stage credits include Guys & Dolls (Arvide Abernathy), Into the Woods (The Wolf), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter). This is George's debut at Avenue Arts and we are so grateful to have him! He hopes the show will inspire the audience to discuss and act in positive and meaningful ways to address the important issues that "Hello Herman" brings forth!
Austin Durant (Senator Cox/Michael Ray et al.)
Austin is 26 years old and currently works as a Docket Clerk at Victoria E. Schafer Law Firm and is pursuing schooling in Physical Therapy and Dietetics. Previously on the Avenue Arts stage, you may have seen him as Ernie Bishop in It's a Wonderful Life. Other notable credits include Haunted Lives (Lee Harvey Oswald) and Wacko at Walsh University! Austin once played football for Walsh University during the very last game held at the old Fawcett Stadium before 2017 renovations!
Madison Witte (Marsha/Susan/Reporter)
Madison is 23 years old and graduated from Wayne County Schools Career Center and Wooster High School. She currently works as an administrative assistant at Everhard Products. Previously on stage, you may have seen Madison in Charlotte's Web (Mrs. Zuckerman), Alice in Wonderland (March Hare), The Games Afoot (Madge) and It's a Wonderful Life (Mrs. Martini). Madison also enjoys playing many princesses for Spectacular Party Entertainment and is so excited to be back at Avenue Arts to help tell this powerful story!
Sawyer Carr (Little Herman)
Sawyer is 10 years old and attends Greentown Intermediate School. This is his first time hitting the stage and we are so excited to welcome him into our Avenue Arts family! Sawyer's hobbies include play bass guitar and drums!
Cathy Csanyi (Gail Howards/Ms. Cribb)
Cathy is an Education Specialist Consultant at Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center following her Master's Degree schooling and 42 post-graduate hours! Previously on stage, you may have seen Cathy in Guys & Dolls (General Cartwright), The Laramie Project (Actor #2), and Vagina Monologues (The Flood). Cathy loves being a grandmother to five grandsons as well as reading. She would like to thank her wonderful husband who shares her love for performing.
James Farina (Michael Green/FBI Agent)
James is 20 years old and attends Walsh University and works at the Discount Outlet in Belden Village! You may have seen James on the Avenue Arts stage in our June production of Charlotte's Web. Other notable stage credits include Of Mice and Men (Boss), The Little Mermaid Jr. (Scuttle), and The Music Man Jr. (Mayor Shinn). James also likes to draw cartoons on the side!
Manuel Halkias (Mr. Phelps/Jim-Carl/Children's Aid Rep)
Manuel is 54 years old and attended the University of Akron and now is the director of speech and debate at McKinley High School and works as a freelance writer! No stranger to the stage, you may have seen Manuel in productions such as The Laramie Project (Various), It's a Wonderful Life (Clarence), Screwtape (Wormwood), The Rocky Horror Show (Narrator), The Dry Season (Pete), and Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None (General Mackenzie). Manuel is an eleven year survivor of stage four colon cancer and has done 24 5K races in the last four years. He would like to thank the actors, directors, theatre community and audiences for and with whom he has been blessed to perform. It is for them that he has recaptured his joy of performing! "I adore you all"!
Jacqueline Dyer (Julia Howards/Tammy)
Jacqueline is 11 years old and is currently a student at St. Paul's Catholic School. No stranger to the stage, you may have seen her in productions such as The Little Mermaid Jr. (Eel), The Lion King Jr. (Lioness), Sleeping Beauty Kids (Merriweather) and Aladdin (Ensemble). Jacqueline would like to thank Emerson, Alison, David and Jared for this opportunity!
Chris Cipa (Sean Gall/Executioner)
Chris is so excited to return to the Avenue Arts stage. Chris attended Penn State University and is now the owner of a small company. Previous stage credits include The Rocky Horror Show (Dr. Scott), The Boys Next Door (Lucien P. Smith), The Dry Season (George), A Streetcar Named Desire (Steve) and The Thing About Beecher's Gate (Sheriff). Chris has 11 years of experience performing stand up comedy and was a co-host on The Morning Show on WNIR. Chris would like to thank his daughter Stephanie who understands the enchantment of stepping in front of the lights.
Tom Bryant (Dougie-Dogg/Executioner)
Tom is 58 years old and is no stranger to the stage! You may have seen him earlier this year as Robert in our production of David Auburn's Proof. Other notable stage credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Caiaphas), All My Sons (Joe Keller) and The Diary of Anne Frank (Otto Frank) at the Players Guild Theatre
