Melissa Broy Fortson is very happy to be a part of this fun show. She has been with ASoB from the beginning and helped put up every show! Melissa has been acting since she was a child and some of her favorite roles have been in JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT, ODD COUPLE: FV, AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’, HAIRSPRAY, AVENUE Q, NUNSENSE, and PUFFS! She wishes cast and crew an awesome run and thanks you for all you’ve done to make this a great show! Love to Ray and Chris!

H. Ray Lawson
H. Ray Lawson directed OKLAHOMA, performed in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS and MIRACLE ON 34th STREET with ASoB. He is an accomplished performer, stage manager, and director in Cecil, Harford, Baltimore counties and Baltimore City for the past 42 Years. He taught young people’s theater for a number of years. Ray serves on the Board of Directors for Cockpit in Court Summer Theater and Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. By day Ray is a Staff Accountant. Enjoy the show!!!!!!!

Eleanor VanBlargan
A buddy superstar on and back stage, Eleanor has appeared on the ASoB stage in several productions and is excited to share her talents as the Jr. Director of this broadway favorite.

LeVar Betts
LeVar is thrilled to return to ASoB as the music director of this classic show. Frequently seen in the music pits of a variety of theaters in the Baltimore and DC metro areas, LeVar is also a dedicated music teacher.

Rowena Winkler
Rowena is delighted to return to ASoB to choreograph another production after last summer’s YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, as well as to try her hand at assistant directing. Other favorite past roles include SIDE SHOW (The Fortune Teller, DCT), INTO THE WOODS (The Witch, The Heritage Players), and NINE (Ensemble, CP). Next up: Co-Directing THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER (CP). Special thanks to Melissa and Ray for the opportunity. Love always to Derek.

Stage Manager
James Shirk
This is James’ 2nd time as a stage manager for ASoB; the first was OKLAHOMA. James last appeared on stage in the 90’s at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts and was part of the first class to graduate as part of the Performing Arts Magnet Program with a focus in Vocal performance. He is the current President of the Cockpit in Court Summer Theater board, where he’s been a member for the last five years. He thanks Melissa, the cast, and crew for their patience and guidance as he continues to learn Stage Managing. James is the staff accountant at Royal Farms Arena in downtown Baltimore and in his free time enjoys sleeping, The Orioles, and Professional Wrestling. Last, he thanks Ray Lawson for once again having faith in him and, as others have mentioned, dedicates this performance to Ray. He hopes Ray realizes how much his friendship and guidance mean to us all. We pray for his quick recovery and is back with us soon.

Alicia Celgin
Alicia loves music and all things sound, and is excited to be on the sound crew for her third show with ASoB. Her past roles include ensemble in LES MISERABLES, CHILDREN OF EDEN, and ensemble/back half of camel in JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT with the Bel Air Drama Company, as well as ancestor in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, and ensemble in BE MORE CHILL with Tidewater Teens. When not in shows, she loves listening to and writing music, drawing, writing, and reading. She’d like to thank her first family, and her found theater family, for pushing her to do what she wants to do with sound. Puff Hug!

Temple Fortson
Temple is excited to be a part of this broadway classic as it comes to life at ASoB. Her past productions with ASoB include PUFFS, SMOKEY JOES CAFE, JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT, and multiple cabarets. She wishes broken legs to the cast and much enjoyment to our audiences.
