Another Opening, Another Show Performers

Jeff Brewster (Baritone)
Jeff Brewster is a professional ceerleader, choreographer, and announcer for the National Cheerleaders Association and National Dance Alliance. He has performed in the 1996 Olympics opening ceremonies, and his voice can be heard most recently in the Netflix show "Cheers." He has been performing locally and regionally for over 30 years.
Karuss Carver (Soprano)
Karuss Carver is a local musician who has appeared in numerous productions around the Tri-State area with groups including City State, Presby Players, and American Readers Theatre. Throughout quarantine, she has taken the tie to write and record an album with her soft-rock band, Carver + Selear.
Timothy Cortes (Baritone)
Timothy has been performing since he was 11 years old. He has worked with the Presby Players, ART, Forestburgh Playhouse, Dingman's Theatre, and the Delaware Valley High School Drama Club. He is looking forward to being in front of a live audience again!
Lynnlee Ennis (Soprano)
Lynlee is delighted to be performing with American Readers Theatre. She has also performed with the Presby Players, the Calvary Players, and Cornerstone Playhouse. Lynlee can also be found dancing and apprenticing at Milford Performing Arts Center, or with her competition cheer squad at Wonderland Elite Athletics.
Ruth Hadley (Mezzo Soprano)
Ruth has been performing for over 40 years. She was a voice instructor for twenty of those years, and in three rock bands for fifteen of them. She writes as well as performs, and has collaborated on projects with several musicians, including our own Sandy Stalter. She has been a part of Presby Players and American Readers Theatre since 2013.
Paige Gualandi (Soprano)
Paige is a high school sophomore in Milford, PA. She has been studying musical theater for 2 years, and has worked with American Readers Theatre, Presby Players, and Miami Children's Theatre. Paige is mostly inspired by the sound and style of the 50s and 60s. She would like to thank her friends and family for being supportive of her passion for music.
Ellie Hanson (Alto)
Ellie is a senior at Warwick Valley High School, as well as a performer for Once Upon a Princess Tea Parties, a featured actress with MCC Actor Training, and a recurring cast member with ART. Some of her favorite past roles include Hamlet, Sour Kangaroo, and attractive grapes. She wants to thank Sandy, Jeffrey, her mom, and GM.
Noreen Hanson (Mezzo Soprano)
Noreen: Winter of 1973, darkness sweeps the land. The wizards knew something had to be done; gathered what power they had to create a child of pure Awesome-ness. When this dashing and witty gal is not saving the world or singing in virtual cabarets, she works as choir teacher at Warwick Valley high School. The most common words to describe her are charming, wise, intelligent and voracious. Noreen is also modest.
Margo Hillman (Alto)
Margo is a 9th-grader, and attends a Performing Arts high school in Scranton. She has appeared previously with the Presby Players.
Matthew Schatz (Baritone)
Matt has been described by some NYC casting directors as "the one who sang that song you remember," "no, not him, the other one", and "Kelsey's husband". Just before the pandemic he was poised to open in his second Off-Broadway show Love Quirks. Other credits include Heathers (original Off-Broadway cast), Jersey Boys (tour), and Million Dollar Quartet (as Johnny Cash). Proud alumnus of Herod Elementary School, Houston, TX.
Bailey Shay (Mezzo Soprano)
Bailey is excited to make her return to the American Readers Theatre after the height of the pandemic, Bailey Shay is an eighteen year old performer who attends Delaware Valley High School. Her love of the arts and inspiring others has motivated her to pursue music education in the future, but she still plans to continue to be active in the theater community.
Kelsey Stalter (Mezzo-Soprano)
Kelsey has traveled around the country--and in international waters--performing in tours, regional theaters, and on cruise ships. Credits include: Ginger Rogers - Backwards in High Heels (Oregon Cabaret Theatre), Audrey - Little Shop of Horrors (City Stage), Lois Lane - Kiss Me Kate (MacHaydn), and of course the dancing Cow - Gypsy (Riverside Theatre). Kelsey is so excited to get the chance to perform with her husband Matt and her mom Sandy!
Sandy McAleer Stalter (Mezzo Soprano)
Sandy has performed as a singer, pianist and actress on stages all across the country, from Las Vegas to New York City, and in many a recording studio as a jingle singer. Recent roles: Nanny Andrews in Mary Poppins; Cinderella's StepMother in Into the Woods; Mrs. Pennywise in Urinetown; Dottie Otley in Noises Off!; Muriel Eubanks in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels; Sister Mary Lazarus in Sister Act. Charles Terrat and Donna Dale (Baritone/Alto)
Charlie and Donna are a husband/wife musical duo from Sandyston, NJ. They have performed all over the tri-state area doing their own eclectic musical thing. Two time winners at the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show. They are both long-time members of Jeffrey Stocker's adult acting class, ART, and Presby Players.
Audrey Rose Young (Soprano)
Audrey is an actor/singer based in NYC. She made her NYC debut at Joe's Pub singing backup and opposite Gavin Creel, and made her off-Broadway debut in Cleopatra at the Chelsea Music Hall. Many thanks to her agents at Firestarter Entertainment. BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan.
