Alondra Johnson (Guitar and Vocals)
Alondra Johnson is a 15 year old who loves to create music, whether it’s singing, playing guitar, piano, or bass if she can play it she’ll make something out of it. Alondra has been playing guitar since she was 12 with private instruction with some incredible guitarist but but most recently she’s studied with Berklee Grad Ryan Kennedy and Berklee College Of Music Summer Programs. Alondra has always loved music from from listening to blues and jazz as a small child to enjoying Mountain Stage performances and various concerts. Alondra aspires to one day to attend Berklee College of music, Become a music educator for guitar performance, and also make a name for herself in the music Industry.
John Inghram (Bass)
For over a decade, bassist John Inghram has been making a name for himself as one of the most sought after musicians in the Appalachian region, as well as the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. John has offered his talents to a wide range of well-known musical acts including legendary jazz pianist Bob Thompson, bluegrass phenom Johnny Staats, Appalachian jam-rock powerhouse Fletcher’s Grove and many more. In addition to his long-term stints, John has also backed artists such as (2011 Winner of “America’s Got Talent” ) Landau Eugene Murphy jr, Janis Ian, Butch Miles (Count Basie band), Vic Chesnutt, Catherine Russell (Steely Dan), Kendra Foster (D'Angelo, George Clinton), Heather Masse (the Wailin’ Jennys), Larry Coryell, Branford Marsalis, Ron Sowell and many others.
Alasha Al-Qudwah (Violin)
Alasha has played the violin since age 8 and studied at Ohio University for Music Therapy and Performance. She also stuidied at WVSU for Education and recently completed her Montessori Certification in Montessori studies through METTC in Boston, MA. She is a mother to her 9 year old daughter Avalee, a freelance performer in Charleston with many various groups past and present including Minor Swing, Qiet, Beth and Alasha, and various songwriters in the community such as Ron Sowell, Mike Pushkin, David McGuire, Mark Scarpelli, and more! She is also the first violinist of the David Bowie String Quintet and a previous Mountain Stage performer with her former group Qiet. She has recorded on over 10 albums with her violin playing. Currently, she’s an elementary teacher at Mountaineer Montessori School teaching grades 4-6. She has also been a private music instructor for 7 years, teaching violin, piano, ukulele, guitar, music theory, and songwriting.
