The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time Cast

Eligh Rickard (Christopher)
Eligh is excited to portray Christopher Boone in the ACHS production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. He first took theater in 8th grade, only to find his passion for acting which he continued to pursue throughout all of high school. After last year’s debut as William Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, he’s glad to be back on the stage. He gives his personal thanks to his neurodivergent brother, who gave him the determination to play Christopher and spread awareness for those on the autism spectrum, and to his friend Gabriel Reyes, who play Mr. Thompson, for being by his side every step of the way. Emma Gamoras (Christopher)
Emma is delighted to be a part of ACHS’ fall show, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, playing Christopher Boones on Sunday. Previously, Emma was cast as the character Knight from an original One Act written by ACHS’ Drama 2 students. She has been in the drama program throughout her entire high school years and is looking forward to what is next to come. Emma hopes she can positively impact those on the spectrum and allow them to have meaningful representation. She would like to thank those she knows with autism who encouraged her to play Christopher and were willing to share their stories and experiences. She will be performing on November 6.
Maya Maestas (Siobhan)
Maya is honored to be a part of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. You might have seen her in her most recent production of Clue in fall 2021 as The Singing Telegram Girl. She has been in the AC drama programs since sixth grade and has had so many amazing experiences. For fun, Maya enjoys reading and listening to music. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her and coming to all her shows. She will be performing on November 4, 5, and 6.
Ava Acosta (Siobhan)
Ava is excited to be acting on stage again as Siobhan, in ACHS Theatre Art’s fall production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. In the past, she has participated behind the scenes in set design, construction, lighting, stage managing, and now in hair and makeup. In addition, Ava has also acted in She Kills Monsters as Succubus, Gabi, and as a dancer in Cinderella. Ava has been a part of Advanced Drama for four years and an Inducted Thespian for three. In her free time, you can spot Ava volunteering for Key Club or running meetings around campus. She wants to thank the cast and backstage-hands for all of their hard work and dedication to this show. She will be playing on Nov. 3
Justin Macaraeg (Ed)
Justin is excited to return to the stage as Ed Boone in American Canyon High School’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. Justin is enjoying his time as a senior at ACHS. Outside of drama, Justin is largely involved with ACHS’s choir program. You can find him performing as a part of Chamber Choir and Public Display of A Capella (PDA). He would like to thank his castmates and his choir family for lighting up his life.
Alanna Williams (Judy)
Alanna is thrilled to be a part of this fall show. Just last year she starred as Marcy Park in ACHS’ production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! Alanna has been involved in the arts since early middle school, and hopes to continue that journey in some way through college. Alanna is actually a published writer, as one of her short stories was included in an anthology of stories and poems titled I am the Dream: Voices of a New Generation (available on Amazon). Alanna was also voted Historian by Drama Club for the 2022-2023 school year and is so happy to work on building AC’s drama program. In her free time she loves to play guitar, sing, or watch her favorite movies. She is very grateful to her friends and family for keeping her inspired. She will be performing on November 3, 4, and 5.
Jayline Lazalde (Judy (Understudy))
Jayline is looking forward to take part in her first play, The Curious Incident of a Dog in the Nighttime at American Canyon High School. Jayline has always loved theater arts and is very fortunate to be taking part in this years fall play. Not only is she going to be on stage playing the understudy role for Judy, But she will also be helping out backstage with the play’s props. Jayline has been in the drama program for 2 years now and is so grateful to be apart of such an incredibly supportive community. In her free time, Jayline enjoys watching movies (specifically in the horror genre) , and listening to music and true crime. Lastly, she would like to thank ACHS amazing drama teacher, Ms. Heartt, for giving her students a safe environment where they are able to freely express themselves and their passions. She will be performing on Sunday, November 6.
Indigo Johnson (Ensemble)
Klara Johnson, also known as Indigo, is very happy to be returning to ACHS theater for her second year. Previous years, she had the role of the musician in “ The Love of Three Oranges” She was in Drama one her freshman year, and is going to continue to do advance drama for the rest of her highschool years. In their off time, they wook at nightmare island as a scare actor during the Halloween season. She wants to thank her amazing family for supporting her in everything she does. Also shout out to her cousin Barak.
Paige Rosal (Ensemble)
Paige is excited to be working in the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time—her first play as a part of Advanced Drama. She took theater in her 8th-grade year and feels happy to be back doing theater again in her Junior year. Off stage, she can also be seen at football and basketball games as part of the varsity cheer team, participating in student council, or on the ice as a figure skater. She would like to thank her parents and older siblings for driving her to her extracurriculars until she gets her license.
Trey Wills (Ensemble)
Nathanial, also known as Trey, is very excited to participate in his first fall show The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time at our very own ACHS Theatre! You might also recognize Nathanial from our school’s spring musical last year, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, where he played the role of Vice Principle Panch. Nathanial plans to go to Solano Community College after high school and major in automotive, while also taking racing classes at the Sonoma Raceway in hope of becoming a racecar driver. He wants to thank his parents for supporting him and always coming to his shows.
Journey Beauchamp (Ensemble)
Journey is excited to be a part of the play, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. While this is her first year in advanced drama, her first time on stage was just this past January in the winter one act The Love Of The Three Oranges as she played Truffaldino the clown. Journey takes drama very seriously and wishes to pursue an acting career after highschool. Other than drama she doesn't really have a life outside of theater, she enjoys making TikToks and posting on Instagram which you can follow her @Ih8.journey. Journey would like to thank her dad Trae Beauchamp for always picking her up from rehearsals for theater and helping her with lines and being the best theater dad. She also would like to give a shoutout to her mom Jenique Johnson, her grandma Linda Walton, her auntie Brittany Beauchamp, her uncle Davion WIlburn, her grandma Valencia Beauchamp, and her loved ones, Chance Beauchamp, Cashaii Beauchamp, Josiah Williams, Alaysia Willams, Giana Wilburn, Jameir Wilburn and everyone who came to support her!
Katie Marsden (Ensemble)
Katie is beyond excited to portray Mrs. Alexander in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Katie has been in Drama throughout all her years at ACHS, and appeared in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Leaf’s Mom, and played the character Earth in Sol Seeker, a play that she wrote with her Drama 2 classmates last year. In addition to acting, Katie believes that being a part of the Drama program here at ACHS has allowed both her writing and leadership skills to grow exponentially. This summer, Katie attended CSSSA and studied Creative Writing. In addition to reading and writing fantasy novels, Katie is a part of many teams including Water Polo, Swim, and Academic Decathlon here at ACHS, and the VJO swim team. Katie would like to thank her mother, father, and sister, Isabella, for being the most loving, kind, and supportive family she could ask for.
Aidan King (Ensemble)
Although not interested at first, Aidan King made his long awaited return in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time after stealing the show as Dragon in the one-act play Sol Seeker. Aidan is a very experienced actor, staring in two productions while still in kindergarten! Besides acting, Aidan also helped design costumes for the play with the help of his mom.
Zachary Hanson (Ensemble )
Zachary Hanson is glad that he is in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Appearing as Saturn and Merchant in ACHS Theatre’s original one act, Sol Seeker, he’s been in Drama for 3 years and loves the class. Zachary enjoys playing several different instruments in his free time like guitar and piano. He would like to shout out his wonderful classmates for making the experience even more incredible like Juliana Mari Pablo and Erica Bonalba.
Gabe Reyes (Ensemble)
Gabriel is quite elated to be a part of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. In the last spring musical at ACHS, he starred as the Love Cast’s William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Gabriel started his journey back in 8th grade in American Canyon Middle School’s Theater program, eventually taking 4 years exploring other electives before returning to Drama in his senior year. While he has a lack of social media presence, Gabriel asks for you to cheer him on and send any and all fan mail to this email [[email protected]]. He would like to give a personal shout out to his friend Eligh Rickard, who plays Christopher Boone in the play and many more for being his squad, as well as to his family for supporting his new passions every step of the way.
Juliana Pablo (Ensemble)
Juliana is thrilled to be a part of ACHS’ production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. She has been part of the Drama Program for four years, with this being her first year in Advanced Drama. Recently, she assisted in the production of the student-written one act, Sol Seeker, in which she performed as Venus. Outside of theater, she enjoys creative writing and is currently learning about art, coding video games, and cosplay. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support in her passions and endeavors.
Emily Mortimore (Ensemble)
Emily is more than ecstatic to be performing in ACHS’ The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-time. She recently played Leaf Coneybear in ACHS’ The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and worked in costume design at ACHS during their production of Clue On Stage. In her spare time, Emily enjoys dancing, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. She would like to take this opportunity to thank her parents and friends for being there when she needed them the most.
Riley Yamada (Ensemble)
Riley is very thrilled to be part of the play The Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night-time at the American Canyon High school Theater. Last school year, she helped work backstage/tech on the productions Clue and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. For the better part of the year, Riley has taken online acting classes at the Young Actors Studio based in Los Angeles where she and many like her study acting technique and scene work. Riley loves musical theater, watching movies, playing soccer and tennis, reading, and cooking. Finally, she would like to thank her parents for giving her the freedom to pursue her many passions.
Ridley Madison (Ensemble)
Ridley is excited to be helping with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time at American Canyon High School. She recently worked with American Canyon High School on Cinderella as a mouse and townsfolk, in The Oldest Story Ever Told as a Stepmother, and as Scarlett's double in Clue On Stage, and as Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Ridley also studied Drama during the 2019-2020 pandemic. When not working in drama, she is commonly drawing, and even worked on the Curious Incident poster with her group. Ridley wants to thank her father, Ryan Madison, for always standing by her side through thick and thin, her snake, Artanis, for always making her smile, and Swirls.
