Producer/Director
Lauren BermanLauren Berman (she/her) is a Chicagoland freelance Director, proud member of AEA/SDC, and Founder/Director of non-for-profit 4 Chairs Theatre where she directed Sondheim Tribute Revue, Ride The Cyclone, Island Song, Be More Chill, Spring Awakening, numerous music cabarets, and fundraisers for A Safe Place, The Trevor Project, and Circles & Ciphers. She directed What The Constitution Means To Me for Paramount's 2023 BOLD series. An MFA UCLA graduate, Lauren has enjoyed directing in both professional and educational arenas, and is also an acting coach for actors of all ages and abilities. Lauren MIllerLauren Miller (she/her) is delighted to be working with 4 Chairs Theatre! She recently co-produced The Man who Came to Dinner and Barefoot in the Park (St. Sebastian Players). On-stage credits range from the one-woman show Squeamish (A Bump in the Night), to Measure for Measure (Barnardine/The Shakespeare Project), to musicals such as Sister Act (Mother Superior/Metropolis), Nunsense (Mother Superior/SSP), Cabaret (Fr. Schneider/Big Noise), Nevermore (Poe’s mother/Jedlicka), and Drood (Puffer/SSP); also the Jeff-Nominated Boeing Boeing (Bertha/SSP), Light up the Sky (Stella/Citadel) and Steel Magnolias (Ouiser/Okoboji). Stage Manager
Amanda Tancioco Rokosz
Amanda Tancioco Rokosz (she/her) is thankful and excited to be the stage manager for Four Places with 4 Chairs this fall! Previous Chicago credits include: Artemis Books and The Well-Meaning Man (SM) with the Village Theater and Hedwig and The Angry Inch (ASM) with Haven Chicago. Amanda graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with her BFA in Stage Management. Previous UIUC credits include The Winter’s Tale (SM) and The Secretaries (SM). As always, Amanda is so grateful to her family and friends for their support throughout her stage management journey. Maraming salamat at mahal kita!

Assistant Director/Social Media Designer
Mary McMurrayMary is very excited to be assistant directing this production with 4 Chairs Theatre. She is a recent grad from Xavier University with degrees in Theatre and Business. She is thrilled to start her theatre journey with such an incredible group of artists, and such a beautiful play.
Set Designer/TD
Bob Pinta Bob Pinta (he/him) is so excited to be working with Lauren Berman, again, and the amazing teams she puts together. Bob started his theater story with Lauren building Fiddler on the Roof at Stevenson High School. With a push from Lauren, Bob designed and built Avenue Q at the Metropolis for his first professional theater gig. Since then, he has built several shows for Metropolis, Marriott and 4 Chairs. Most recently, he built several pieces for Marriott's Catch Me If You Can.

Lighting Designer
Elliot DePappeElliot DePappe (he/they) is pleased to be designing for 4 Chairs Theatre. They graduated from Lamar University in Texas in December of 2022 and moved to Illinois the following month. In their professional career, they were the lighting designer for The Man Who Came to Dinner (Saint Sebastian Players) and have been a spotlight operator/lighting electrician at Drury Lane Theatre and Writers Theatre. Elliot believes that theatre is a powerful art that builds communities and saves lives and thus it is their honor to work on productions such as this.

Costume Designer
Anika SplettstoeszerAnika Splettoeszer is a Chicago-based costume designer and graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University (BFA Costume Design). Recent credits include Angels in America (Asst. Costume Designer) at Invictus Theatre Company, Becky Nurse of Salem (Asst. Costumer Designer) at The Shattered Globe, Network (Asst. Aaron Harris Woodstein Aaron Harris Woodstein (they/she) a Chicago Based Sound Designer, Composer, and Teacher. Helen NepplHelen Neppl is very excited to make her debut into the world of theatre! Since graduating from Chapman University in 2024 with a BFA in Film Production, she has been doing freelance Production Design work for TV/Film projects. Intimacy Designer
MJ Deamon
Melinda “MJ” Deamon is thrilled to be working for 4 Chairs. With over 25 years experience working with individuals, couples and groups, she has added theater to her intimacy work. Creating a safe space for people to feel comfortable and vulnerable as they open to themselves and others is prioritized to allow for fuller feeling and deeper connection. MJ is also an accomplished actress/singer/dancer in the Chicagoland area.

Box Office Manager
Lylia BrownLylia Brown (she/they) (Box Office Manager) has always had a strong love for art and music, as well as helping the community in whatever way they can.
They often spend their free time with friends at concerts, trying new restaurants and if they happen to be alone, drawing and creating original characters!
