WELCOME!
Long Island University Post Theatre is among the top theatre training programs in the nation.
The Mission of the Post Theatre Company is twofold: to provide a production laboratory that mirrors the conditions of a working professional theatre and to present exceptional live theatre.
Acting students receive a broad range of training that includes traditional and non-traditional theatre practices. LIU Post is one of the only undergraduate programs in the country to offer Suzuki training – a rigorous physical discipline designed to increase an actor's focus and concentration as part of its core curriculum.
Graduates of the program are strong theatre artists who can meet the challenges of the rapidly changing and multi-faceted field.
