Located in Mesquite, Texas, Skeeter Theatre is part of THE Mesquite High School's: School of Fine Arts. Our program consists of 300+ students taking technical and acting classes, participating in extracurricular productions, and participating our Texas Thespian Troupe #562! Our students have received accolades at the Texas Thespian State Festival, UIL One Act Play District and Bi-District Competitions, and actively participate in the Broadway Dallas: High School Musical Theatre Awards!

Students: Whether you aspire to be a Director, Actor, or Technician, we have you covered! Every year, we produce a Full-Length Fall Show, a Full-Length Musical, a UIL One Act Play Competing Production, and our Annual Senior Directing Showcase; so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and work with Skeeter Theatre!

Parents: We strive to provide you with simple and effective communications to keep you abreast of what we are doing here at MHS Skeeter Theatre! We love parent involvement, so feel free to reach out if you would like to help to support and evolve our department!
