ABOUT THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR: Claudine Piechotta became the Harlequin Club director in the fall of 2023. As a fourth generation thespian, she has been engaged in theatre as a writer, director and performer for 30 years. A member of AEA, SAG and AFTRA she has performed in regional professional theatre, films, radio and TV commercials. In addition to work as a performer and director she has written and edited numerous plays/screenplays, won an ADDY award for best commerical radio spot and has been recognized for her community service and philanthropy in Bucks County. Throughout her career she has worked with youth from grade school to college as a coach, teacher and director believing in the power of theatre to transform and engage young people like no other medium.  

She tolds a BA in Theatre Performance/Directing, completed graduate work in classical acting (Shakespeare) at the London Academy of Performing Arts and is persuing completion of her MFA in Directing.   In 2024, she received a nomination for "Best Theatre Educator" by the Philadelphia Independence Awards
